Well young sir, if the motion of destroying zappers get out then there will be no difference between the consequence of trapping and having your th inside.

Which then forces trappers who wish to keep their resource to leave their th undefended.

Some people want to deter low levels from an easy snipe. Best thing to do is to only snipe corners and ones with decorations around them.

I tend to agree with the OP on this in the sense that it's annoying when people do that but like some others have said it's just how some people play the game. They probably get some sort of enjoyment out of watching the trapped TH in replays regardless of whether or not they get "burned to the ground". What's more annoying: The trapped town hall or the person who takes your untrapped town hall and still destroys your base?

I will wait. Haven't met a sniper yet that could take down my base. My curiosity is raised.

While I don't look for exposed TH to snipe, if I come across one I will always take it. I always test i and if it's trapped to the point I need to use extra troops, I will go ahead and fully attack the base. And yes, I could take yours.

Dunno why you would trap

1) weakens your overall defense
2) less likely to be sniped if suspected trapper
3) more likely to be destroyed after they see the traps
4) if you use bombs, an uneccessarily large rearm cost
5) people look down upon you
6) more likely to have resources stolen
7) more likely to complain here because your farming and your resources get stolen

Why do you assume just because someone traps their TH that their base is weak? I have trapped my TH a few times and laughed at the replays of people trying and failing to take my base after destroying my TH.

Ps-if everyone who wasn't concerned about losing cups left their th out we would all make free loot:) I have no shame in sniping in masters for 100/100/500. It's the easiest way to make millions these days, with little cost
