Go for 1* on other th9s and 10s using surgical or go for 2 stars on th8 and below.

If you want to wait longer you could do lavaLoonion on other th9s for 3* if you prefer.

28 loons is a little much, with surgical you really want no more than 24, 28 is more of a comp for 2 starring since you have way less minions

I can three star a maxxed town hall 9 with Penta-Loon, youtube search it, its wonderful.

I'm slowly working my way up with gibarch, just looting shooting for 2 stars. Seems to be working fine, not in a hurry, and I'm not boosting. Sort naturally arrived at M3/M2

Isn't that the truth! I just reached champs last night, and it was a bit of a struggle getting through the last 100 or so cups. Don't dare lose, or you lose 30+ cups, and if you win you get 1! Oh, and after you spent a couple hours getting those 10 cups, you get steamrolled for 20!

I finally got lucky last night with some good snipes and some good TH9 offers and crossed the threshold. Then I got hit for 20 when I logged off, and another 30+ this morning, but I don't care anymore. I'm going to go to low M1 or M2 where it's easier to farm...

Oh, and I used loonion all the way. Pretty safe bet against TH9s, but have your royals ready in case you make a mistake and need a few more %.
