Army Composition Should Be 2 Rows

With the addition of the new DE spells, the game now requires a large variety of different items when attacking in war or matchmaking. Instead ONE long row where you have to scroll to the right to view all of your troops, Supercell should come out with an update where you can see all of your troops and spells in two rows to eliminate the pain of scrolling to the right.

I just used Gowiwipe in war. I had a few barbs minions and archers as well as freeze, rage, jump and poison spell. I completely messed up because I didn't use my freeze spells because during the heat of the moment I do not think about scrolling to the right to use them. I look down, do not see them, so therefore do not use them. Got a 49% and it was because I didn't use my freeze spells because they were hidden from view. I messed up, yes. But supercell can come out with this update to prevent mess ups such as these and make attacking more convenient for the players (especially after the DE spell update)

Thoughts? Ideas on how to redesign the troop composition row?

There are only some problems with doing that, which I think make it impossible to change the way you suggest it to change.
Currently, the troops buttons use about 20% of my screen (Note 3 device), so adding a second row would just make the troops menu too large and would reduce a lot from my view on opponent's base. I rather have the scroll than a too small base view, sorry. Also, reducing the size of the troops to fit 2 rows is also not an option because that will just cause a lot of troubles and miss-clicking on the troops/spells, ending up with a lot of complaints about too small icons.
Sorry but the only solution I see is the current one so you might have to get used to it this way..

I'm sure there is a way to redesign it. With the addition of new spells and troops this design is out dated. It can be fixed without taking up more space on the screen

Good idea if they can figure out a way to do it. Screen size is definitely a concern.

Best way is that the troop icon who designate x0 should be automatically deleted

The only problem with that would be that you might end up deploying the wrong troops/spells. Imagine the 2nd slot was emptied and you wanted to deploy the 5th troop. Well, you might go and click on the 5th spot but that spot is now occupied by the 6th troop which dropped 1 spot due to the removing tab. All in all, you might just end up with a mess in your army, with troops and spells moving everywhere and you'd have to pay more attention to the troops/spells tab to make sure you selected the right one, and in the meantime lose focus on the attack.

when i was thinking of that directly i've noticed this bug
u will have to reselect manually other icons nothing will be automatically:)

What may work is if a spell or troop was used it could be moved to the back of the Line leaving only the viable spells/troops still open. I haven't had this problem yet but I can see how in heat of the moment having to move your spells aside to grab another may be problematic

So would be easier to have to move the entire attack troops screen to find the one you want. This will be the same thing. How is it any different having to scroll over and lose focus with that then to have the spot removed?

Interesting ideas. It's only a matter of time before the current design creates problems. It's becoming outdated. I think a change is needed
