welll over time it makes a lot of difference
this is for one week:
Level 11 collector: 3000x24x7x6 = 3024000 per week (with 6 collectors)
Level 10 collector: 2500x24x7 = 2520000 per week (with 6 collectors)
Level 11 pumps pump 504000 more per week all together, this is quite a lot....
if ppl attack ur base u still get same gold & water?
Upgraded collectors before anything, whenever i go online theres a stach of gold waiting to get collected, deffo worth it
They at least cover your battle searches, so it's a good long term investment.
Don't count on them to contribute to your building upgrades tho. At TH8 it's getting less significant in terms of saving up resources for upgrades.
They arent worth it until you maxed out your base

if your really active i woule sleep at 9 or 10 and just keep farming
I'd recommend doing them when you upgrade your walls. Don't prioritize the builder time for them over defenses though.Quote:

Completely disagree! It takes close to 60 days to max th8. Over that period of time they will make just about 26 million gold and elixir! Which is about a forth of the upgrade costs, excluding lvl 8 walls.Quote:

I have had maxed mines for the last two months and I have never been hit like that. That is spending eight hours sleeping and ten hours working! Just leave your th outside and people are very happy to destroy just that and move on.Quote:

I completely agree with Dehimi. I only upgrade my mines and pumps when I am working on walls and when I am going up to the next th and got nothing else to upgrade. They are a good long term investment but work on defences first as they matter the most.Quote:

I can assure you, when loot gets bad and you got things to do in real life you will be thankful you upgraded your collectors ASAP.
If you raid a lot, they're not that important. I'm a mid-level th8 and get along just fine with level 9 pumps because I raid all the time. But if you rarely raid then max those babies out.
I sometimes don't really play for two or three days.
Good to have a steady flow of ressoruces from maxed mines and collectors during that time.

I maxed mine out at TH7. I raid often and find them very helpful. They cover raid costs and I've always got some elixr to keep armies going. Especially after big research upgrades.
