My two cents about the situation with the stall: there used to be a gingerbread man problem, things being bought without ads. I realised then that controlling the stall is impossible. The game isn't designed this way (hence the blackmail nature of the OP leaving the game unless we can block people etc etc).

SC even responded that people with full access to the stall is considered good for the player. Through the LB, last helped bar, friends list you name it. I believe someone even mentioned FB, how you can go to the last liked farms and visit those farms through FB. (Not sure about this one, not connected through FB)


so now, I give all the goodies that I can't find through the newspaper on the boats for friends. I make and sell all goodies that can be found on the newspaper anyway. So any one of my followers and friends might find popcorn n stuff they need, sometimes milk, but mostly the same crappo ♥♥♥♥ that everyone sees in the paper.

Yes my stall does get stuffed sometimes, but since SC is so insistent on people finding your shop easily for satisfaction purposes, I refuse to sell stuff that can be snatched up.

I Did it twice today, just apple J, and some stakes, and my friends didn't get them. Just faceless creatures..

So Then out of the game, I give away things to various friends who need them.

Thats my solution for now. The game is a hoarding game. I sympathise with people who are bothered by greedy little fingers.

I myself probably buy too much, but in my defence, I do give away a lot of things on boats. Not even doing it for the boat points anymore. I don't keep anything in the barn that can be found in the shops and I leave those crates for neighbours who need BSHIII

I think the thing is that it is a constant unknown/unfriend raider that is taking all of the stall contents. There is an element of me that agrees that once it's up for sale then it's free game for all but I too put items up for sale that are hard to come by for the benefit of my 'friends'. ie the people who help me back. It's like unspoken barter in a way. My friends fill my boats, put good items up for sale without advertising and I reciprocate. So when you do that, and an unknown raider comes in and buys it all then you feel a bit miffed because you know your friends will miss out. Even more annoying is if your friends get to your stall after all the good stuff has gone and think you only sell rubbish! And I might not be able to fill a crate of 11 chilli popcorn but I'll put up for sale the chilli popcorn I do have. My friends then have the opportunity to buy them. Seeing as I very rarely advertise my friends should have first dabs at my stall but incomers can, and do, raid the lot without ever helping you back. I know - it's just a game - but my 'friends', because of their actions, have become people I actively want to help and Mr/Mrs ruddy Barnstormer is making me sooooooo mad!!;)

I think it's time to bring on the 'zap' tool. Like a thank you card in reverse... ;)

It's gotten creepy, and the user has changed his name to have the word porn in it.

long story short. I have invested a lot of time, money, and love into the game.
Why do I have to have my experience ruined by some creepster cockroach?

ewwww - maybe because of that SC can do a backened block for you? Or maybe reverse psychology. Start stalking him and rename your stall "saving sinners" ....so sorry this has happened to you :-(

How do you know this person in particular is buying from you.....if he is not on your GC friends list, followers list, and last helped?

and how do you know his 'name' has changed if you cannot access his farm...? Or do you mean his Game Center name? or FB name? Are you connected to FB on the game?

Maybe I am a bit confused about these things. Still sympathies goes out to ya.

I am level 62 and although I've spent (too much) money and time and enjoyed the game so much, I'm on the verge of quitting. I have a stalker that must be on my farm all the time. Every time I fill my shop, he comes and wipes me out. I list harder to get items for friends and unfortunately, they never even have the chance to buy them. One time I had a friend that was doing that and I was able to delete them but with a follower, I'm trapped! I'm so frustrated at this point. I've been looking for another game to dump my hard earned money into because I am sick of feeling frustrated with this troll living in my roadside shop! I've even changed my name to, leave some for others, and shop closed, and then stopped selling for a few days. Nothing works and the minute I put things in the stall, he comes and buys every single thing. I give up!

Hi,

I know you posted a week ago, but as this thread continues I hope you come back to see this.

If you do see a game name with inappropriate content in it, please report it to Support. Let me know if you need to know how- while Support does get many emails- and it might take awhile for this to be resolved, SC does try to block such content.

But I also am having problems understanding your situation. Don't get me wrong- I totally understand the frustration that our farms can be followed or found if we don't wish to.

In your first post you mention that this person was on the Top 25 listed on the leader board and you sent them a request- are you also listed in the Top? That is how you got to him and he to you then. If your not listed there- he must have accepted your request. If not- please also include that info when you contact Support.

The ability to Block a farm is a good one- and has been requested before, I don't think it's a matter of SC not listening to players by not adding that feature. I personally think it would change the games dynamics to much, but I'm sure it has been discussed as a possibility.

I am sorry for your frustration, I hope this doesn't cause you to quit though.

Sorry i haven't read all of the thread so this might have already been covered.

I think you should be able to give friends a discount, a variable percentage. Maybe only activated if you are selling for the maximum price in your shop. Non friends pay full.

I think I've accidentally done this on several occasions and I never realized it was frowned upon. I've never stalked someone but I certainly follow users who sell a lot of good stuff at a low price. I've always thought that if you put it up for sale you want it sold and it doesn't matter by whom. I sell lots of stuff in my stall, always at full price, and my philosophy is that if you need it and have the money you can buy it. Money never seems to be an issue in this game (I certainly have more than enough) so I just assume people will buy at full price if they want it.
And I randomly visit farms from the newspaper and see what they have for sale apart from what they advertise and I often find good stuff. Sometimes I'm there just as building supplies are being put on sale and then I nab them of course. It
never occurred to me that they were meant for someone else. And to be honest, I will continue to buy them, otherwise I would get nowhere in this game as I refuse to buy diamonds. I haven't spent a single dime on this game and I intend to keep it like that.
