Global and Clan Chat Messages
Preface:
I did a quick search for posts regarding clan messaging and chatting and didn't find any recent or fulfilling posts. However, if I missed a post or sticky please let me know and I'll delete this post.
Problem:
I continuously run into typing a long message and running out of room. Leading me to type a continuation of the thought into a new message, praying that no one sends another message while I type. Then when I send this message it appears above the previous message. This backwards split leads to an unnecessary amount of confusion, especially in messages with more than one split.
Ideas:
0) There is no problem. People like me ruin this game. I should abbreviate every word I type and stick to sending messages like "swt atk bro" and "lol ttul".
1) Instead of adding new messages to the top of the message stack add them to the bottom.
2) Allow pushing messages onto a stack and then popping all of them off to chat at the same time. Currently we have to write and view long messages like we pushed them onto a stack which is quite annoying.
3) Add an ellipses button at the end of shortened, regularly long, messages that would function as a message expander.
4) Increase the character buffer from, what I assume is, 128 to 1024. Not sure how plausible this option is.
