Skeleton Trap Modifications
All experienced clashers are aware that the most vital part of a defensive base is traps. Traps are what gives the defense the element of surprise against attackers. When I first began playing Clash of Clans, the Skeleton Trap was not implemented. When it was implemented, I saw a lot of potential in this trap, but was disappointed in its outcome. With proper modifications and suggestions from the public, the Skeleton Trap can be raised to the trap that ic could be.
One of the first problems I see with the skeleton trap is its lack of surprise. When a trap like the Giant Bomb or the Hidden Tesla appears randomly before the attacker, most people realize that these new variables could seriously put a dent in his or her attack. This does not seem to be the case with Skeleton Traps. With the proper amount of barbarians, archers, or wizards, Skeleton Traps sometimes go completely unnoticed to the attacker throughout his entire attack. Perhaps the Skeleton trap should have more than two settings - air attacking troops and ground attacking troops - making the attacker more hesitant when a Skeleton Trap is triggered.
Setting 1
Setting One is the same setting as a before. A set number of skeletons will pop out of the trap, attacking ground troops while walking on the ground.
Setting 2
Setting Two is the same setting as before. A set number of skeletons will pop out of the trap wearing a balloon, allowing them to fly around at attack flying troops.
Setting Three and Four are the new settings that I recommend be added.
Setting 3
Setting Three will spawn a set number of skeletons from the trap armed with small rockets similar to the air defense. These skeletons are ground troops, but are only able to attack air troops, such as Balloons or Dragons.
Setting 4
Setting Four will spawn a set number of skeletons from the trap wearing a balloon and armed with a sling shot. These Skeletons are air troops, but are only able to attack ground troops, such as barbarians and archers.
------------------------------------------------------------
All of these settings will spawn the same number of skeletons, and all skeletons will have the same amount of hitpoints and will have the same attack power.
