I can not use dragons in war anymore. They are much too expensive. What are some other strategies? These are my troop: level 4 barbs, archers, goblins, giants, wall breakers and balloons. I have level 3 wizards, level 1 healers, level 2 dragons, and level 1 minions and hogs. I do not have valks, golems or pekkas
If dragons are too expensive, get to farming the elixir or opt out of wars. It seems that you're a TH 7 and dragons are FAR AND AWAY the easiest and best troop to use in clan wars. Don't be the TH 7 who doesn't take the easy 3 star against another TH7.

I currently have two th7 accounts. Mass dragons are by far the best choice and with lightning or rage spells (depends on base) will 3* almost every time. An attack i was using before i unlocked dragons at th7 was LoGiWi. kill cc, Send in some giants and take out the air defense/s then send in some back end cc loons to destroy the base. This is a more advanced tactic and no where near as strong as mass drag but it works. Its the same idea as LoGoWiPe (th8/9 strategy)
But if you arnt prepared to spend some loot getting your clan 6* there isn't much point being in war

If you are finding wars to be to expensive you might consider finding a clan that doesn't war as much. For now try either GoWiPe GoWiVa or hogs.

Dragons are way overrated, but a reliable option on TH7...

i just upgraded my king so anything with hogs or massive numbers of minions is rules out. I think I figured it out-giants, wizards, barbarians
Your sig should not say "hardcore player" and your clan should be not called a "war clan". It takes like one farming attack (maybe two) to afford enough elixir for dragons, do it. Every TH8 attack in war needs to be a mass dragon, gowipe, or hogs (and those are actually expensive).Quote:
