Great news! I am sure a few of my earlier stalkers were using that back door.

This fix is welcome news. Thank you SC for listening to those who were harmed by something that should have been a good thing. I am sure this took a lot of work with Facebook. Thank you for taking this player security issue seriously and addressing it.

I have to come clean on this one - we didn't change anything. :) I noticed this thread and had a chat with the team, and according to them we haven't really made any changes (the change is on the roadmap though). So why this is now as it is, is beyond me. I just don't want to take credit for something we didn't do. Just happy that you guys are happy! :caticon:

based on the fb post I feel like I'm back in grade school. Robert and Bellamy sittin in a tree.....
I tried this last night and the two farms I liked haven't appeared in my activity log at all. But any farm I've liked before now, I can still click on their name and it takes me to their farm.
that is so weird! maybe i'll try logging out of fb and relogin and see if the names come back.
Please, just please, fix derby task. I don't do them because they are super glitchy.
And yes,
Roses are red, violets are blue (they are actually violet just that's how it is), I need you to fix the derby tasks, I'm getting pretty sad too.
What a shame that this huge hole that has been such a trial for so any players is still working. I'm my opinion THIS is the fix that needs to be worked first --
Both derby task and this need to be fixed. After all the outrage you would expect maybe a patch.
The FB like pathway is something that has been such a trial for so many. Very sad that this is still an issue :(
It is slightly odd that you can even do this in the first place, let alone it still hasn't been fixed. Oh when hay day was newer and simpler.
This exploit has been available since the first day of HD -- no need to rue the older and simpler days. This was built in at the start, and needs to be removed from the game.
It is much better. As someone who doesn't use FB I always hated the fact that your farm can be accessed through FB whether you like it or not. Not very pro choice! Not everyone uses FB in fact some people despise it. Well done Hay Day even if you didn't consciously fix it lets leave it how it is!

We celebrated too soon. But it was nice to believe in the dream for a little while at least.
I just did a fb update. Security I think, not sure. Anyway when i went to activity log the log doesnt show the farm name on likes anymore. It just takes you to hayday rather than the farm that you "liked". I hope this is the fix that we have all been hoping for finally. Fingers crossed.Quote:
