Here I will be explaining clan war modes. I have included examples of different kinds of wars, possible rewards gained, advice in raiding, as well as ways this would improve clash! But enough chit-chat. Let's talk about:

Clan War Modes

Examples of wars include:

• Heavy Base
• Destruction Race

If you have any ideas explain them below! (Ideas without much detail will be ignored.)
Heavy Base
In heavy base wars, buildings from every clan member's base are placed into a village edit mode. The leaders and co-leaders are then allowed to modify the base to have it ready for the war. This would go hand in hand with my idea for Custom Ranks idea. Each player in this war would have one chance to attack. Damage dealt to the base would count towards the next attack. The winning team is whoever destroys the most of the enemy base.
Tactics:

• Use barch in early raids to clear out buildings which would distract the troops from the intended target.
• Use 4 or 5 freeze spells in high-level wars to distract buildings while destroying them with powerful troops.
• 4 Earthquake Spells are of more use here as the open wall segments would improve performance of future raids.

Rewards:

If your clan is successful, each player will recieve a certain amount of loot. This loot would be based on how much damage you dealt to the base and your town hall level. Possible formulae (plural to formula) could be:

Possible Formula for Gold/Elixir: Town Hall Level x Damage Dealt^1.013
Possible Formula for Dark Elixir: (Town Hall Level x (Damage Dealt/200)^1.008) x 0.76

(I'm good at math but since Town Hall 5s typically raid for 30-50K and Town Hall 10s raid for 250K it's hard to make a forumula for this, but I'm sure ZachUVA can help :smirk:)
If your troops dealt out a total of 24,201 damage, and you were a town hall 7, you would gain 568,842 Gold/Elixir and 669 Dark Elixir

I think that is a very interesting concept! Just know that this many modes are probably not going to end up in Clan Wars, but don't give up. The first idea is VERY unique and I like it. I have two new suggestions for Clan War modes: 5vs5 Wars and Clan War Tournaments. :thumbsup:

In 5v5, Clan Wars have 5 people. Each person has 1 attack, but you can earn bonus XP and War loot. And I think clan tournaments are pretty self explanatory.

Question: for the Heavy Base wars, there will still only be 1 Clan Castle and 1 Town Hall, right? The only thing I'm concerned about is a Th10 heavy clan could have like 50 Inferno Towers and like 1,500 walls.

So? Clans don't need to score 100% on the base to win.

Like all other "new war idea" threads, this one does not address the core issue: matchmaking.

By splitting clans up into different pools/types of wars, the pond gets smaller. Matchmaking becomes more unbalanced.

If this idea is implemented ... and assuming that these wars were equally popular, your best case is 1/3 normal, 1/3 Heavy, 1/3 Destruction.

Welcome increased matchmaking times and higher probability of being paired with a much stronger/weaker opponent.
