How do you add '*' in front of the name? I know it must've been the name enlisted in GC since it appears in the roadside shop and not the farm name. But I tried to view my GC account for several days now but it only shows nothing (blank). The user is French and s/he doesn't join the forum I don't think I can change my farm name to ask him/her how do to that. But I'm very2 curious...

Hi P1nky, Do you mean you can't find the star symbol on your keypad? Hit the ABC OR 123 key at the bottom RHS of the keypad and when the. #+= sign comes up above and to the right of it, hit that and your keypad will change giving you the star sign and other options. Hope that's what you mean. In view of our conversation, this is very funny, me giving you tech advice!

Hello, Woozle, but it's not regular asterisk like in our keyboard. Just click the attachment then you'll see what I mean ;)

Hi P1nky,

I don't think it's any symbols found on the keyboard..the attachment shows the stars/sparkles as some sort of a copy and paste template.Willsearch and let you know.

have tried PM miss.p1nky. But no success..name not valid..

add me as I like active farmers too..lol

I think I got the answer below, but I can't try it yet, when I try to 'View Account' in my GC, nothing happens. Just blank. Can you try it out, Viv? Put emoji in your nickname in the GC...

Yes of course, I see what you mean. I have a friend who uses stars in her GC name, and other decors. I will PM you her forum name, I'm sure she will help you.

I think you have to download an emoticons keyboard. Go to apple stores and search for it. There are a few, so read the reviews. There is a good free one. (I have one, but haven't quite worked out how to use it properly, but if you bring up a couple of images and copy and paste them you can add them to your nick in GC)

I think it's made by the Emoji keyboard

Here is an easy way to add the emoji keyboard to your device:
Open your device settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards > Add New Keyboard (and choose emoji).

When typing you see this button (indicated with the red arrow) added to you keyboard just tap that to switch to the emoji keyboard for a lot of Emoji's.

Personally I probably wouldn't use it in the GC ID as it could make it difficult for people to add you. Unfortunately using the keyboard on the farm sign doesn't work.
