This is a war base modeled after Galadon's (Youtube Channel: ClashofClansAttacks)Nemesis base.

It's meant to be anti-drag, anti-hog, anti-giant, and thus far has worked. It may also be anti GoWiPe.
Let me know what you guys think, and of any suggestions/thoughts/ideas!
That core is too big, and has too little point defence for this base to be anti-gowipe. Also, to be anti-hog a base should have a well placed double big bomb trap.
If you watch Galadon's video on it the anti GoWiPe part is that golems wander, leaving the king and pekkas undefended, who rarely head towards the core in this base anyway (I know from experience). As for anti hog, they don't enter the core without first destroying all the outside defensive structures. If you have an idea for a spot for a double giant bomb let me know, that would be more helpful than stating the obvious ;)
I did listen to what you said, and decided to make some key changes. First, found a good spot for double giant bomb. Second, moved some stuff around so that I had four point defenses in the center, a strategy I've seen top players use. Anything else?

I would put the DGB in the core, Instead of walls around the collectors it would probably serve you better to make more compartments in the middle.
Without moving a defence and wrecking the patching already in place there isn't an effective place to put a double big bomb trap, I'll give you that. That said, there are a couple ways to get pekkas into the core. You could either go with a three golem gowipe from first dropping a golem in the north and the south west with two wall breakers and a few wizards each to create a funnel for the third golem and bulk of your army on the bk side. The other way would be gowipe from the bk side and south west and side loons from the north.Quote:

Anyway I moved the DGB like you said (its now by the bottom-left Archer tower) and have tested it a little. A giant attack failed due to giants wandering, a giant healer due to the SAMs, and so forth. As long as the enemy wastes as many attacks on my base (I'm lower leveled in my clan) as possible trying to 3* I'll be happy.
Much too weak to mass drag.
I find that funny. In my last war, FOUR attacks were done on this base, all using mass drag, and all three ended up grabbing only one star. Two were from th8s, and two were th9s, who 3*d other th9s using mass drag. If you find this base weak to mass drag, look at the facts first, then decide

your DGB placement won't work that good either. put it inbetween 2 defenses. e.g move ne cannon a bit left and put the DGB between the cannon and WT.
not to mention how spread your defenses are. it's a HoLo playground as a lot of your defense are snipe-able with loons.
easy surgical hog. you can put your springs better as you're more likely setting it to spring off giants but not hogs. while cc lure is relatively easy also.
GoWiPe with a jump spell (in this case a th9 is attacking you) with backend hogs/loons is an easy 3 also.

Yeah, the vast majority of people dragoning have no idea how to dragon. Lightning the south AD, and if you funnel dragons from the left to right, this base is a dragon's best friend.Quote:

Add DGBs and segment your base more to combat stock armies of TH8.
How about a double giant bomb spot? I think that will be more anti-hog.
