Hi,
So, when you drop a troop in the middle of a building you will see this message:
You cannot deploy troops on the red area!
and the base gets surrounded by red lines.
My idea is: When you try deploying spells on the storages, you will be prevented and get a message:
You cannot deploy spells on storages!
and maybe storages will be surrounded by blue lines, for example.
This won't prevent the storages shield in case a lightning spell strike touches a storage.

I'm with you! I think zapping was perfectly fine. But since it's not allowed anymore, this is at least entertaining. I didn't zap much. I liked to save it for the guys who trap their TH around the outside of their base. Any time someone did that and made me use way more troops than necessary, I ALWAYS zapped their DE (if I had any lightning at the time) no matter how much or little was in there. Not only that, it would make lightning harder to use. I still use lightning at times to terminate CC troops, such a coding would mean I could not do it if opposing CC troops were standing near a storage. That would be really frustrating to deal with.
I'm 100% for the zappers that haven't gotten a clue wasting their spells.
What's the problem with that? It not like the spells or shield affect you in any way so why complain.
I am against this idea, because people might just hide some small buildings near the storages, such as a Builder Hut. Now picture yourself at 49% with a lightning spell remaining, but you cannot deploy it on the last Builder's Hut because it is surrounded by Storages. It would be pretty hard to make this thing only stop you from dropping the spell right onto the storage building.
If people enjoy wasting their spells, let them waste them :smirk:
Noobs who can't read should suffer, and honestly this "zap shield" was made only because of silver league, which I haven't touched since TH7. This aspect of the update hasn't affected me; I only zap TH10 who gibarch me for a lot of loot, or the d-bags who put teslas around their town hall
