Donation Re-think/Improvements

Yes, i know what your thinking. Some kid wanting there to be stupidly over powered 'improvements' to the donating in clans that would ruin the game in 3 seconds flat. but i think i may have a reasonable idea...

Lets say you are ready for war, waiting for your clan to donate something to you like a Pekka or a few Wizards, you see the white text on the screen 'SuperNoodle888 has donated 1 Level 2 Giant' Naturally, your not to impressed. but you understand, he is only trying to help. My idea is that when you request, you can toggle the troops that can and cant be donated in that certain request, as well as the minimum levels. So that only Level 1 and up Pekka's can be recieved or Level 4 and upwards Wizards. You could also, have a request that says (for a 35 Space Clan Castle) You want 1 Level 5+ Archer, 1 Level 5+ wizard and 1 Level 1+ Golem, or 2 Level 1+ Witch, 2 Level 5+ Wizards and 3 Level 5+ Archers. Then, only the selected of troops can be given. There are a few problems, defiantly more than the 1 that i can think of, but it is one of the more fool proof ideas. The problem is that this WILL rule out lower players with lower leveled troops. and you will of course get that one person -who dosen't understand housing space- that is a level 20 with a level 2 clan castle asking for a dragon. However, that can also be countered, as you can make it so you can only filter it to be received if you can hold the troop.

There it is! My idea for the future of Clash. i think this will be a small update, but a big game improvement as it brings in more functionality and a better interface. Of course if you want 'Anything you can select a box that makes it so all troops can be received.

Another minor change could be that when you retype your request -if you decide against the suggestion above- is that it does not delete it all. i have sometimes wanted to add 'Archers' to a 'Wizards and Minions' request and had to retype it all. therefore, you could make it editable like the description. so that it does not disappear but you can easily add more to the end.

It would be bad for some people like me who are in req and leave clans. Mostly we give barbs arch n minions. But when people select they want only drags it becomes difficult for us to keep kicking ppl who stay back for long periods.

Well, if they select only dragons they probably won't last long in a Req&Leave clan and won't probably get a dragon XD

Sometimes, even when people know what they are doing, they click on the wrong troop by accident or having read wrong. Then you have to wait until your request is up again, so I think this would be positive. Not HUGE really, but still an improvement. I would like to see it!

I think it is one of the best ideas yet because it kind of makes the req and leave clans have issues... i never really thought they helped out the game so this is a wonderful idea

Make this a poll, I'd vote for it.

The concept is fine I guess, but as mentioned it messes with a lot of different things that affect the game. If you are unable to donate anything to this person because you do not have what they are asking for troop or level wise, that donate will get stuck in the chat.

If if you are having trouble with low level people giving bad troops or wrong troops that sounds like a leadership issue. Even the little troops help in a cc. Clan exp,is trying to help,this issue as well. Once a clan hits level 5 it is able to get a level higher of troop allowing the lower levels to be more helpful with troop offerings.

Most of the clans I have been in since I got th 7 have had only th 7 or above players in it which helped with getting low level troops. The lower levels jut have to understand that their troops are not effective enough and need to wait for the donates unless the clan members are okay with lower levels.

I am aware this would need some thinking and jggling around, and there are some obvious changes that may mess around with Req&Leaves. There are some more notable things to look out for like a few of you have said. if you could please elaborate if your answer is short on what you mean in greater detail (If you pointed out a problem). I would be most thank full.

The idea in itself isn't bad, but I think SC likes to leave clans well alone. In other words, if you're having some dude donate junk, and it becomes a continual issue, that sounds a lot like a leadership problem.

It's almost good that SC has it the way it is, because it adds a challenge to operating a clan.

Also, try to edit it so it wouldn't hurt Req&Leave clans.

Perhaps an option for the leader to enable/disable this feature within the clan? Or new members do not have access to this feature?
