Inserting links and pictures
I've been asked to share a few tips on how to get the most out of this forum
Please feel free to add any tips of your own.
Posting links
To direct someone to another post, the best way is to right click on a post number
Then hit copy shortcut. Then go to where you want to post and right click and hit paste.
By clicking on the post number when someone clicks the link it will take them right to that post.
You can also go to the address bar at the top of the page , click it and hit copy, paste where you want the link to go.
This will give the full link to a thread.
Posting screen pics
There are different ways to do this, but here's how I do it.
First I installed the photo bucket app on my iPad.
To take a screen pic on your iPad, hold your finger down on the home button, then press the power off button, and release when you hear the camera click.
After this, go into photo bucket and follow these steps:
1/ tap my albums
2/ top right
3/ photo library
4/ camera roll
5/ select the picture ( it will load)
6/ my albums
7/ tap the chain icon top right
8/ select IMG code.
It will say copied to clipboard. All you have to do then is past it into your post.
As I said, there are many other ways to do this, but this way gives you a decent size pic, and the photo bucket app is free.
It seems like a lot of steps, but once you've tried it a couple of times it's easy.
