Poison spell reduced damage to Heroes?
A clanmate of mine just pointed out that he couldn't take out a lvl 10 queen with 2 lvl 3 poison spells.
Looking at it from a mathematical POV:
Level 10 queen = 874 HP
Lvl 3 poison spell = 450 DMG x2 = 900 DMG
Yet we all saw the video in the sneak peek where it took 8 max poisons to take out the lvl 10 queen. Am I missing something here? The math doesn't make sense. The only explanation I can think of right now is that it must do reduced damage to heroes (similar to healers + heroes).
Definitely doesn't do full damage to AQ
I dropped 3 level 1 poison spells on a level 2 AQ. Theoretical damage 3x270 = 810.
The AQ had only 740 hit points, and after spending nearly the full spell duration in the poison ring, she was barely even hurt. She still had around 80% hit points left, so she only took about 20% of the anticipated damage.
I'm in favor of protections for heroes so they can't be easily sniped, but it's definitely annoying that there's no description of this protection anywhere in the game. With so much of the mathematical game mechanics spelled out in the info pages, (specific DPS, HPs, abilities, etc) these weird little quirks that are left unsaid seem annoying and unnecessary. What's the point of having a bunch of us try something once, only to fail and then post the info online for others to read?
