This idea came to me because clan wars don't effect your money if someone attacks you so it would be a good idea.Like what if you destroyed everything in a attack no more troops and a storage and you have lightning spells. I think this would be a good idea it is not a big deal. -Also on earthquake spells
For me I don't see any major problem with storages being protected from spell damage. Usually when you are getting the 3 stars you have a lot of troops or even the heroes left. The lightning and earthquake really don't make that much damage to storages and usually the storages already have been destroyed when it comes to 2 stars or even the one star by 50%. The only rare situation I see is that the person has put the storages at the edge of the map and there is like so few troops left and so little time that the troops get to make only few hits and there is pretty much no hp left but the storage is standing. Note this is really rare because majority of war bases use the storages in base to make the attack much harder due to their high hp.
That probably won't happen.
I absolutely like the anti zappers feature but the only problem was the loot stolen, not the damage against storages.
And how many raids result in a 49% with one storage almost taken down anyway?

Only problem I can see with this would be that if you tried to,zap,an ad and the storage was near it, then you may lose loot you wanted to get when you zapped the ad. Could likely be worked around however. But zaps should hit storages, just not give loot

Even though the need to protect loot doesn't exist in war, I think the need to keep gameplay elements the same between war and raiding to the greatest extent possible is important.
Lighting is not a single target no one will hit it head on. But if your hitting stuff around it should take damage like everything else.Quote:

Storages are shields for defense in war. Often they are proximate to air defense so dragons can chew on storage while taking AD fire. What you are saying is that a game element should behave differently in war versus the village due to necessity. What I am saying is that consistency is more important than rationalization.
