Can a lvl4 lightening spell take down a Lvl6 AD still? Has this changed?
One of my clanmates tried and it was extremely close to gone but didn't die, caused his loss.
Was he plain unlucky? Or is lvl4 lightening not enough anymore after update

3 level 4 lightning can takedown level 6 air defense, its how you properly drop the lightning. I suggest you have to zoom in so you can drop your lightning at the center.
I watched his replay 3 times on zoom. 3 lightening dead on AD.
I always use lightning and dragons in my attacks and i never fail. If you want a replay from me go check my clan on my signature and join. You will see im telling the truth.
I don't doubt u.. But have you used it after the update was released?? Building and defenses have higher hp
Level 6 air def = 1050 hit points
3 level 4 lightning = 1127 overall damage
ye , i always take it down with 3 Lightnin spell
as an advice : zoom , then select the spell ,then drop it on the center:cool:

as my fourmmates said, three level four lightning spells can take out a level six air defense.
Just make sure that you drop your spells in the center of the air defense.
Some people tried earthquake spells and they had to use 7 of them to take it down.
If I am a TH8, I would bring 3 Light Spells and one poison.
I have been zooming and placing my lightning Spells smack dab in the middle of the AD's since my Th6 days. This was a first for me. If you had seen the replay, you would have seen that all my spells had been placed in the center of the AD. I blame supercell. And that's it!
The lightning spell just has some randomness to it sometimes a few bolts will miss even if u think u placed it right, i had this same thing happen to me once and completly ruined my raid to be safe upgrade spell to 5 and it will never happen again
