im a TH sniper, so ive gotten really good at never missing the button. Havnt actually had this problem in a very long time, but even so, it IS a problem that I have had in the past and people still struggle with now! Really all that would be needed, is a button at the very top of the page, that says "Attack". Tho i feel like you would also want to know what is in your army. For those who have a lot of troops, they want to know exactly what they have. So maybe still have the troops at the bottom, but only make them useable after you click the "Attack" button.
One more thing, the "Attack" button should NOT have a clarification button! So when you click attack, it just starts the attack right away. You can still "end battle" before you place any troops, and exit out of the base, but there should be no kind of "Are you sure you want to attack this base" screen after you click "Attack".
