Elixir walls

We should be able to upgrade lower level walls like level 8 walls with elixir because after you max your town hall (except the walls) it would be nice to be able to speed up the wall upgrading process without spending a million dollars on gems. Defenses cost gold and sometimes I end up wth a lot of elixir and no gold and I want to spend it on walls.

This is a horrible idea every time it's suggested. They did this once and it almost destroyed the game.

Ridiculous. You should be able to get up to at LEAST lvl 8 walls with just gold. There's no "speeding up the upgrade" process. This game takes time and only the few dedicated players can stand on top.
