well its 10 gems and only stores 300k elixir because people cant raid you for the full 8m
and if there is no loot available someone might not attack you until the boost is over so that would bring the elixir back

We said the name change wouldn't happen but it did... ok a copmprimise of one time only.
but more importantly zapping immunity we said would never happen ... but hey look at the latest update.
The OP has actually thought about this one. To boost you use gems you are unlikely to abuse something if you have to pay with gems. The fact that you can run out of production of troops if your searching for the right base takes a long enough time - devalues the use of the boost baracks, alternatively increasing the troop que capacity to 120 each would be another viable alternative and may be less complex to introduce to the game and would equate to 2 extra stored armies worth.
The only things ruled out about zapping were things like "teslas or lightning rods absorbing lightning."
Ruled out is still ruled out. Sure OP might have some points, but ultimately it's way too technical of an idea to really implement for what reason? He's too lazy to retrain troops? This game is centered around patience and the time it takes to do things.
SC has already gone above and beyond to give us time-saving abilities, they don't need to do some kind of ridiculous update like this.
Lol picture the release notes:
Now available! Infinite training capacity in all barracks! But only while you're boosting! So that you can't hoard elixir! And at the end of your boost you get refunded! If you're storages are full then tough!
Come on now, let's be real...
People will boost before they get off to stockpile elix. They then get attacked. Oh and this is actually easily exploitable with a pause boost. So I can hold all my elix in my barracks since my barracks are still technically boosted.
Clearly you don't like to read posts fully and like to shoot down people before they have a chance to explain themselves,
Anti Zapping resources of any kind was ruled out a representative openly stated "there were no plans to change this" but then they made a U turn.
If we are taliking about technicalities then his idea is not in the ruled out section his version is unlimited during boost not permanent...
The reasoning behind it - is not laziness but maximising the value and use of the boost facility so that they don't stand idle. I have given an alternative to aid discussion but you are prepared to throw it out at the first hurdle that is not the ethos of IFR - so i think you need to be the one realistic.
♥♥♥♥ "there were no plans to change this" and "ruled out" are completely different things. One is on a sticky which everyone can read, and one by a representative? Those are completely different things as well. I've read plenty, thanks for assuming that I don't read. Clearly you don't get what everyone else in this cancer topic has already reiterated from what's already been posted a thousand times before.
And if we're talking about maximizing boost, then it's up to YOU to make sure there are troops in your barracks before you raid, so that there are enough things in there to continue training. If you're saying that your barracks are standing idle, that means you clearly didn't leave enough troops queued in your barracks. Maybe you saw that your camps were full and went to go raid and forgot to train more, I don't know? That's completely your fault.
We're just telling you the reasons why this won't be implemented, the fact that it's clearly ruled out for such reasons, and how you're comparing it to other things you claim were ruled out but weren't.
You're wrong on every single level of every reason you're giving to have this added. Again, stop being lazy. It's your fault you don't know how to keep your barracks full, not SC's.
Im suprised of not finding the words: fresh spawn on this thread :p
