It's not necessary to use so many golden lures. I just used them because I can get golden vouchers quite easily. And - if you watch how a fish moves - you won't have to spend golden lures for getting a Rudd instead of a Golden Trout.Quote:

My secret with the Golden Trout is just that I drop the lure about 70 times to be sure I have one on my lure as I answered some of the private messages I got. I do fish a lot cause I like it. I try to just use different colours on my lure now. Before I only tried with the lures and circles I needed to get all my 90 fishing medals. I guess I had some luck too. I sometimes spinn the wheel 3 times if it has a gold voucher.
Try to drop a few lures sometimes and see if a bigger fish comes to the lure. Dont know what else I can say that helps.

The table did start on the first page originally, and for reasons of mainly page space and updating, the table is following the updates. The other fishing threads are not new btw, they have been all been running for weeks. as far as the bluegill goes, I was trying for the golden trout at the waterfall and then I needed to go so since gt wasn't biting I saw the striped bass jumping and thought I would get a quick filet. What's funny is me cussing out the bluegill for catching it and then quickly changing my mind when I see the weight almost get to 5 pounds.

this guy was fun. It took me 15 minutes to bring him in. Lucky I had my polarized glasses on to see him right below the side of the ship. LOL. I don't want your record BOROYOB, just a fricken gold size golden trout. I only need GT and green carp of the rares. I can almost always tell if its a Rudd now but once in awhile I get tricked by the greater redhorse at the waterfall or a coho in area 2. I don't mind losing the green voucher in area 2 since I have a million of them but those gold vouchers are still so precious.
When I caught my 3.745 gold medal bitterling, I thought I had a record too since I rarely look at the first number. The record bitterling on the list is almost 1 pound heavier. Wow...
