Yes it is just coding, it will take up barely any noticeable space. it is a file type too though (technically) But not something that is going to effect COC in any negative way. It is 100% possible and a-lot more easier than what other people are making it out to be.
We can make this happen!
It would be a fantastic additive not just for us players but Supercell too!
Not possible... Allow me to explain how replays work
The replays are NOT videos but data this data include how many troops deployed, when they got deployed, and much more
That why they got deleted in every maintance break because when the AI of the troop changes it WILL affect the replay
You can record them by your self...supercell servers can't hold that much of data
It has to be recording to be able to replay what you are doing, when you are doing it and what the troops have done.
Is it just me or do all the replays act like a video?
Yes it is data, but nothing they cant handle. if they can handle it through the game, why cant they just add a simple button allowing the conversion and transfer of data to Facebook.
I'm not going to give up this idea, because it is possible. sure there may be a bit of a wait time when they first introduce the share button, but it will be something they slowly pick at as the updates for the game role through.
CosmoLG. You need to accept the fact that replays are re-enactments of past events based on current data. When that data changes, it is not possible to recreate an identical replay. It doesn’t matter where it happens. Several people have already told you this.
SC creates mobile games apps. They are not in the business of creating video sharing apps.
No amount of arguing will change this unless there is serious benefit to SC.
Even so, it is still possible to implement it. Like I said before, there will have to be a conversion time and transfer time which can be done through another server, which prevents any issues with the main servers. problem fixed, no AI issues and we are all happy!!
What I am trying to say is when you click on the Facebook share button, it will take you to the other server temporally with an option to say whatever you want with the post, after you click 'Post' it will then say "may take several minuets" with a progress bar. after uploads complete it will transfer you back to the original server and your done!
There are ways around all problems, Every thing has a solution, It will work and I am sure Supercell will be able to implement this with minimal issues.
Nothing is impossible
No more issues of what has been discussed can occur, please Supercell, It would be awesome if you did!!:D:thumbsup:
