I'm fine with a barch nerf, but this is too much. 150 lix for a barb and 300 for an arch (both lvl 5)!?!?!
doesnt mention anything about attack speed in the release notes im reading. Provide a screenshot.
Overall relatively pleased the update, the new content is great. However, a few thoughts come to mind on the cosmetic / usability side. I feel some of the cosmetic / usability changes were overlooked & not thought out properly in the update. With these additions / tweaks I believe you can vastly improve the functionality & usability experience for each & every user. I very much hope you can take some of these onboard.
Issue #1 - Spell Queuing:
Great that we can now queue even when SF is full. However the user can no longer see what spells they currently posess without entering into the info tab, rather an inconvenience & confusing at times.
Fix(?): Display 2 sets of spell lines above & below one another within the brewing screen. One for current spells created & another for spells due to be queued after the maximum amount one can take into battle are finished brewing.
Issue #2 - Updated profile overlay:
I love the new changes to the profile. A few tweaks here & there & it could be near perfect.
Fix(?):
- Firstly I'm not a fan of the way atks / def won along with troops donated are now displayed. It was much cleaner & easier to the divulge the information in the past when they were lined up vertically situated within white bars.
- Secondly, the quick base view tab from the profile that allows one to view a players base without visiting them could be improved. This could be achieveld by allowing the pop up image to fill the entire screen. Currently the image is tiny & requires one to squint, particularly on smaller screens such as a phone.
- Thirdly, I like that war stars & trophy record are now displayed on the right hand side at the header of the profile. This is useful since it doesnt require one to scroll through a players profile beforehand. To the left of the header however is a large blank space. This could quite easily house 3 of arguably the most sought after / viewed statistics - gold grab, elixir escapade & heroic heist. From a farmimg clans perspective, these often determine whether or not a player is allowed access to one's clan. Allowing these to be positioned within the header of the profile just as war stars & trophy record are would make a large % of players lives much easier as this would eliminate the need for tiresome & lengthy scrolling.
Issue #3 - Updated troop display tabs when raiding:
This is great, I love the updated look & how the colour scheme fits with the updated profile cosmetic.
Fix(?): I'd like to bring it to your attention that myself & many others are CRYING out for you to remove the auto selection of the 1st troop when searching! I can't begin to explain the enourmosity of the infuriating problem that is accidently dropping a troop on an undesired base, losing precious trophies & time in the process. I cannot stress this enough!
The following suggestions are important small additions / tweaks that I believe should be implemented & do not currently feature within the game. These would work in harmony with the changes that we recieved in the latest update.
Suggestion #1 - The addition of league bonus dosplaued within the attack log.
Explanation:
Sort of a no brainer really. We all know that we recieve league bonus when we successfuly win an attack proportionate to our league badge. Some confirmation within the attack log screen would be welcomed, listed beside the gold / elixir / DE that was stolen during the raid.
Suggestion #2 - Further dimensional troop queuing.
Explanation:
Bare with me as this may be a little lengthy, but neccesary if I am to explain the ins & outs of such a proposition.
The ability to train troops in whatever order we like would be very welcomed indeed. This, as opposed to the current one dimensional queuing system we're blessed with that only allows us to queue troops in a specific order, i.e 20 archers followed by 20 barbarians. We're restriced from making troop A, followed by troop B, further followed by more of troop A.
As an example, if one wants to make valks & minions, be it either for using them in battle or making one of said troops solely for donating, they must queue them in that order. Particularly for those with busy lifestyles who are unable to log on & off frequently or stay online for extended periods of time, this is where the inconvenience arises.
In this instance if the user wishes to keep their barracks training troops, they must stay online until the valkyries are made, or alternatively be online at the time of finishing of the valks being made in order to make the desired # of minions, only to have to re-queue valkyries again. This is rather awkward & requires a lot of back & forth as the user is forced to login back & forth unnecessarily or stay online for extended periods of time.
This could quite easily be countered with the above mentioned suggestion as it would save the user a lot of hassle by allowing them to queue the desired # of valks, followed by the desired # of minions, then to be followed by the desired # of valks again. The current problem is amplified more so with troops with longer cook times, such as witches & golems. Please SC, this would be a lifesaver.
Thankyou for taking the time to read. I realise this is a little lengthy. However the sole purpose in this post is to make mine & my fellow clashers lives that bit easier whilst improving the overall clashing experience.

Future will tell if dark spells are worth it and useful in war. I doubt we'll use them heavily in multi because they are quite costly for that use.
All in all it's a great update. Many UI improvements, and troops AI does seem better (golems are not stuck on a wall with nothing behind any longer, and wall breakers go more where I want them to go).
Spell queuing and cooking reduction time is a must.
Has anyone noticed much reduced loading times ? Editing your base, searching in multi... it seems to me the game is two times faster than ever !
its not a glitch that they dnt display league numbers any more basically they will show like gold 2 gold 3 but when u reach the "1" of any league the stop displaying numbers as for the dark spells unlocked i THINK they did that just cuz the spells are new and the top players still in champions league they probably have not attacked yet

Some ok changes.spell queuing is good,new spell factory will make things a bit more interesting and I like the layout.
I would however sacrifice all these changes 2 be able to use my upgrading heroes in war,this is still really,really frustrating.
Also if lvl 4 drag is made available at th9 then why not lvl 4 pekka???
It seems the healers are unaffected by rage spells now? This stops archer queen+healers attack strategy... Very sad. I used it to farm 5+ millions of DE.
Please bring back the old Champions shield with the fire. New ones look drab and unimpressive. Otherwise very fun update. Thanks!
The update is great:thumbsup::thumbsup: love to see how the dark spells work, and the normal spells take less time, really love that:thumbsup: and finally I don't think people will be zapping for de now;) im happyXD though I also do it, from tym to tym:smirk: but now the champion league doesn't look so champion anymore;( b4 there was the flame and the cool aura but now it's just a red shield with a skeleton:facepalm: And barbs and archers costs have increased by 50%:unsure: as a barcher I don't like it;( the batching system was originally used to reduce costs, but this doesn't help;( but other than these the update was Awesom;)
You guys got rid of the war timer in profile. It was a big part of us keeping war hoppers out of our clan.
Hate the cost change to Barch. It was uncalled for, especially with how tight loot is for us max players. I would really like to see this change reconsidered.
Also all the new things to spend DE on... but no more DE infused into the game? Because DE is so valuable, I already am a total miser with it. Need to increase current drills output by 20% and add a level 7 drill.
Other additions are nice but I still dont see a place for dragons for high leve play.
2nd air sweeper is a game changer, very curious how long its going to take people to figure that out...
New GUI for barracks and troops is really nice. Much more polished and user friendly.
Like the HP increase on buildings, especially for canons. Canons need something to set them apart, not to just be ground only shorter ranged archer towers. Increasing the HP of them is a good start.
Overall happy with update. But am very frustrated in barch cost change.
Surprised to see no gem achievement for getting to titan or legends. Maybe we can fix that?
Few things
Loved the update and honestly am most inpressed with the new profile. Love the way it looks and how it adds two very important things being war stars an highest trophy count. Makes me feel like i achieved something.
1.The top players in champions 3 are only until they attack and then they will be placed in the Titans league so that should be fixed after a few days
2. The badges with no numbers on them represent the league 1. So silver 1 has no number and Titans 1 have no number ect.
3. My profile shows i have all the dark spells when i don't so that needs to be fixed.
4. Also on my profile with the troop donations and troop requests it makes it look off balanced when the numbers are closer to the next category then to the one it belongs to. I would rather the number be much closer to the description then the description of the next category. Does that make sense?

I only want two things after this update
1. PLEASE PLEASE make heros available for war I'm tired of sitting out for 7 days.
2. In profile the little base preview button is a cool idea but way way to small. Why not make it take up the entire profile page and to minimize it you just click the picture again. This way i wouldnt have to spend the time loading up peoples bases when i just want to look at there base design.
Now obviously i want other things like quests but these are 2 small things i want.
So what were the extra 10 items in the shop, did anything ever come from that.
First you bring in a 4th mortar, now you are increasing the prices to make barch a less profitable strategy? Unbelievable. :mad:
New wallbreaker and queen AI is completely trash.
Update is great thanks but I was disappointed to see no new gem achievement in the trophy/league category, perhaps for reaching Titan League. If the goal was to get more people motivated to raise trophies I think this would have been a very good idea. Just 2 cents.
Well the content added was great. I liked almost every bit of it.
Even the UI overhaul is stunning. But my only issue is that while the new icons/bars/buttons such as for barracks in the new army composition button, they may look great on the iPads and the larger screen android devices.
But on my iPhone the gold and elixir count bar at the top, barracks button when training troops or even the button for cancelling the troop formation as well as the badges. They seem to be really small and difficult to click/see. They seemed to be perfect size as they were before on the smaller devices.
Liking the update so far except for the 2nd hair dryer and badge changes. Champs and titans look ugly af. I won't even bother building the 2nd hair dryer any time soon. I've got teslas, ad, and mortars to upgrade before it.
Hit points for buildings have increased, and the number of buildings has increased as well over time (DE spell factory, 1st and now the 2nd air blower) yet the battle time has yet to increase beyond 3 minutes. Seconds matter in this game, and I feel as if its getting harder and harder to take on opponents in the same league. I would love to see this updated in the Near future

Thats really a good update but you need to change the league's badges in chat and memberlists because the badges of the champion's league are really cheap and ugly ... Bronze /champion ... Same color, shame ! :(

very bad update. Storage are now immune to spells plus building are much harder to kill. Troops becomes expensive. How can we catch with higher levels?

Anybody noticed it is now much more difficult to star in Champions league? I use lavaloonion and when I use to encounter single target infernos, it was fairly easy to get a star, but now it seems like the balloons are dying much quicker. Thoughts?
Storage Zapping - Shouldn't of been implemented.. Lightning has lost significant value, and with the addition of earthquake and poison instead you can damage more than a single lightning. Now there is no use to even consider using a lightning spell instead of an upgraded poison + earthquake combination

-Decoy Spell for Defenses (perhaps spawns skeletons in spell location, for 10 seconds, upgrades make it last longer)
-A spell that allows a glimpse of traps in a certain radius

Have you used the drags yet? I was wondering if 10 drags, 8 loons, 2 freeze and 7 haste or some combo of 3 or 5 haste and rage/heal with the drags would be a strong attack.
Loving the update. I had 200k DE last night, so had a chance to get the DE spells up and gem the time. Haste seems really good for getting ground troops to the center, rage in the center. I have Golems, in one instance 3 out of 4, getting all the way thru the core. People will complain that it is too OP. But it makes attacking a lot more fun!
At 3734 trophies now, but looking forward to pushing to Titans!
- great update when it comes to graphic interface.
- Old nd new badges are aweful ( the best one is old champ badge ) , ur artist can make them beautifull/scary/herror more than the current ones.
- new AT is new xbows . It is so funny .
- we shall have two labs: one for elixir troops/spells nd second one for the dark troops/spells.
Great update, only thing I have an issue with is the spell factory display. I cannot tell what spells I already have cooked. The spells you already have should be displayed in the window you create spells.
It was a much needed change, Th8's and Th9s only use Barch, your two most basic troops, was a horrible and stupid way to play the game. It also encouraged people to drop trophies on purpose to find dead bases. Also stupid for the game. They want to motivate people to climb higher and now there are new leagues with better bonuses for us all to get to.
It was a great change to nerf Barch.
Once again failed to address the two most requested changes: adding quests and Heroes being available in war while upgrading.
Pros:
- Decreased cook time on spells
- Ability to queue up spells
- Potential AI improvements (yet to be seen)
- New army build button and interface
- Removed zapping from the game. Well done!
- Filter for clan chat
Criticisims:
- Added a new level for Dragons which are typically not used beyond town hall 8. Why are lvl. 4 dragons available at town hall 9 but STILL not the lvl. 4 PEKKA?
- Added dark spells, but the dark spells seem to really only be variations of existing spells. Also, no additional spell slots below TH 10? Haste not upgradeable until TH 10?
- Added new trophy leagues that only impacts the elite of the elite players. This is a big 'so what?' for the majority of the community
- Still no quests. There is such a world of possibility here! Take the goofy quest gems and spinning the prize wheel out of it, just daily and weekly quests would add so many additional ways to keep the game new and fresh and give us some interesting goals as individuals and clans.
- No additional single player content
- No additional ways to earn clan XP
- No useable available hero in war while upgrading
It feels as though our voices are continuing to be ignored and the direction of the game is being steered by your top 150 players/spenders.
Finally, a solid update after 9 months of "fixes and patches" disguised as updates.

- nerfing barch, once again (it's clear Supercell wants to get rid of farming, but why make it so obvious?)

When I heard about this in sneak peeks, I thought this would be something Leaders would be able to select for their own clans. I also hoped that Leaders would be able to select what words would be censored within their own clans. This could be a very helpful tool in the game with a small bit of tweaking.

Queen AI is just stupid if you want to farm storages. She just refuse to go inside the base.
Still have to wait how this new queen AI will turn out in war. But for farming I am very disappointed.
I dont know if it's posted already but my clan is in a 20Vs20 war and we got +10 and +25 XP for scoring 3 and 6 stars. War just started and we lead 8-3.

Pros :
+ Spell queuing - awesome, and fantastic
+ New attacking AI (assuming it works as described)
+ Dark spells - sounds awesome, and looks interesting, and makes you strategize more about what spells to bring.
+ No more DE zapping
+ Added blow dryer against level 5 dragons?
+ Hero AI : if it works, great. :)
+ Additional leagues - since I've never reached Master's the higher leagues seem out of reach for me. And since there are no achievements to reach the higher leagues, I may not try for them in some time (if ever).
Cons :
- Dragon level 5 for TH10 and level 4 for TH9 is nice, but what defenses are there to protect against them? No additional damage causing defenses were delivered.
- Barch costing more? I'm just not sure the cause of this. Seems like a not well thought out idea, unless a SC staff member can explain why you would raise the cost of a Tier 1 troop?
- Font sizes smaller? very hard to see on a phone. Not sure why the gold/elixir numbers were made smaller.
- New badge icons are horrible.
Like everyone else, what would make the game more fun/enjoyable for me for years to come :
o Ability to use heroes during war
o Additional achievements
o Daily / weekly quests or challenges
o Additional clan perks
o A new troop or two would be fresh!
Overall, I give it a 6/10.

Agreed. Not the biggest deal in the world, but agreed.
1) Actually, you do get an additional slot, no? TH9, for example, had 4 spells, or the equivalent of 8 current slots the way it is now counted. Now a TH9 has 9? You will only see it once DSF is build. So you do get something extra.
2) The variations are super sweet and will add a lot of creativity. I would say wait until you get to play with them before passing judgement.
Actually, this is going to affect everyone much more than you think. When Champions' League was all that there was, that's all that there was. There was no reward for going up higher, so bored TH10s might have decided to come down for easier pastures. But now, with the additional sweetness above, you might see a LOT of TH10s who decide to move much higher, making it less likely to get mauled by a maxed TH10 at lower trophy levels.
- Personally, quests schmests. I can appreciate if people want them.
- Clan XP? It shouldn't be easy to get. It's a reward. Grind it out and build a strong team as a result.
- There is no way that SC would cater the top 150 players, as it has to be such a small percentage of daily revenues. More $ in the millions who aren't the top 150.
Love the new update! Dark spells, spell brew time reduction, Al improvements, end of zapping, dragon Lev 5, new Leagues... All great!
I have to echo others about the champs and titan badges though... They need work. Champs and titan are supposed to be symbols of prestige. Titan could have a shimmering or glowing effect. It could be white or almost clear in colour like a diamond (as opposed to recycling gold). With champs, the logo could shine a bit more.

WBs should be renamed "marathon runners that get shot before ever reaching a wall." They simply run long distances and die.
My bigger concern -- which I've seen others mention:
During raids when you want to switch to a new troop / spell / use hero ability / deploy CC: you've gotta MASH the dang screen to get the change to register. This issue is leading to things like: accidental spell drop; mis-timing the hero ability; dropping the wrong troops; etc.
This is a serious problem.
As usual SC is completely out of touch with their own game.
Queen isn't meant to go to storages. You always need to create her path, as she will always go to next closest building unless aggroed by some force. Now it is true, that with the nerf of the radius (last update?) you now have to clear much more than before if you want to rely on heros/cc bringing her in a base. Clear her path.
Im sure it's been mentioned but clouds are still horrible. Titan 3 right now at 4380 cups. Maybe it will take some time to correct?
Additionally the Titan badge (tier 3 and 2) is just an oversized gold league. Terrible change imo.
Also, the increase for barch is simply lame. Supercell employees didn't get laid for a few weeks when they thought that one up.
New Update is awesome! Overall I think it is great, looking forward to new strategies and Troop AI.
Possible improvement upgrades:
-Pekka lvl 4 at th9;
-A re-train all button (like in Boom beach) where we can just have a set troop count (might not be possible though because of the different set up than boom beach)
-Collect all button for collectors
-Heroes in war
-Change Titan badge color, looks too similar to gold badge
-Earn XP by upgrading walls and troops/heroes
Seems like lv5 drags aren't going to be that useful due to the upped hp of many buildings. If the dragon damage is only increased 30hp/attack and quite a few buildings are upped by 100-200, what's the point?
Sure, let it play out and see if my hypothetical is wrong, but I'm just pointing out the possibility.
Why this? The way it's put in now, it's the same as asking a minor on a porn site to click the "I'm not 18 button" and leave the page. Meaning, it's not needed or very useful. Either keep the chat completely uncensored while taking abuse reports seriously, or censor it properly without going overboard and removing simple, harmless, words.
The Good:
- Cheaper dragons
- New spells add more dimension to attacks
- Spell cook time reduction
- Updated UI
The Bad:
- Increase in troop cost (barb, arch, wiz). Makes profit more difficult at lower lvls in a game where you are resource starved to begin with.
- New dark spells. Yet again more dark elixir is needed, its the biggest pain to scrounge up, and its always needed for upgrading King, Queen, and insane amounts are needed for labbing.
- AI "improvements". I have found my troops are dumber now! Before the update my troops were more apt to penetrate further into defenses after a wall was opened. Now, I see units literally LEAVING a penetrated area to run around the edges. On one occasion King, barbs, arch, and wiz were near TH/storages but turned around and left for more difficult to reach targets.
- Storage immunity to spells. No, this is not another "OMG I WANNA ZAP" argument, but one that would like spell damage to still apply. Dragons and other troops can get stuck on storages for longer amounts of time. If they are impacted by a quake or lightning, they SHOULD sustain damage. Let the gold/elixir stay inside if you want, but the target should sustain the damage.
Honestly, something needs to be done for resources. Farming from collectors is a joke above TH 5 or 6 and raiding is getting nerfed by the "cheaper" troops becoming more expensive. Something has to give on SC's end to help us out if they are gonna keep dipping into the coffers.
Possible improvements:
- Increase collector production rate. Especially dark drill (which has a laughable production at all levels). Might as well let them be semi-useful instead of just taking hits when raided/in war.
- Increase league bonuses. We all know they are a complete joke and the fact that Gold does not give dark elixir at any level is a sham. Most people in those leagues are TH 7+.
- Add some sort of offline raids. Let the goblin coffers rebuild after a bit for some additional farming. It doesn't have to be TONS, but at least enough to make it worth people's time. (50K-75K G/E profit from attacks)
Finding troops go around the perimeter instead of heading towards the centre. My wizards are going around the edge of an enemy base destroying the outside units, then only head in once they have completed the circuit. It seems if they have a choice of blasting through a wall to go after another building they prefer to find a building where they do not have to destroy a wall.
This update rocks :)
My only complaint is that I don't find the new UI more user friendly because I'd rather see troops or spells that are already made on the screen that makes them (barracks/spell factory screen) instead of having to switch to the "army overview" page and then switch back to the other tabs. It's by no means the end of the world, just slightly less convenient to me at least.
why still i can search +1/-39 trophy? i thought you will fix game balancing and yet i still i can search on crystal while im on champ 3.please do reply. tnx!
Lol, supercell why r u so disfunctional, we liked the look of our badges. Many of us felt like that was part of the reward for our achievement. Maybey next update u could just give us colored circles...heck why not just remove all color from the game!!! But seriously, PLEASE STOP BEING STUPID!!! TY -Mush
PS: I understand that the term "comming soon" is a relative term, but cmon....Its simple; the more fun the game is, the more people play it and tell their friends. Let me put it in terms u can understand, I stopped buying gems 4 months ago, I was spending $20 or so a month and only boosted barracks spells and hero's never for upgrades 100% to attack more. But having mastered and done every type of comp a thousands times....why spend money....so I can kill cc troops with poison? Nah...I guess we will have to see who is faster ...the people who will be "quitting soon" or the new troops that are "coming soon".

Liking most of what I've seen so far. Changed badges and spell factory icon glitches are easy to fix soon enough.
The only other thing I'm not liking is my brand new th9 with th8 defenses being used as a testing ground for th10 with MAXED troops to try out the new spells. Pick on someone your own size, haha. ;-). That attack cost more in army training than u got, with very little gold to show for it. Oh well. Just bad luck in timing for us newly upgraded th who have no resources and everything to do.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not bitter...just because I can't revenge you guys...just wait a year or two...!! Lol! Come see me th6 and 7 sniping to get to crystal. I still like you. Now more than ever, in fact.

please, make this game even more playable for the people who pay thousands instead of focusing on the majority of players who love the game but arent willing to put all of their money into it. Typical cash grabbing Supercell :/
This is still going to happen. The bases you see is a function of the similar THs that are around you. That is only going to change when there are more similar THs around you. If you are a lower TH, then that's probably only going to change a tiny amount. If you are a TH10, as TH10s climb up to get back to champs and the more prestigious Titan, then at Champs 3 it will get better. But as one goes up higher and higher, this is always going to be an issue.
After the update I'm still looking for my barracks, click my clan castle to request troops and looking for my spell factory to make spells.. Who else still does the same thing training troops?haha :p How long do you think you'll be able to adapt with the new update?;)

+Additional leagues - provides more incentive to trophy push
+A.I. improvements - given that they work
+New army build button and interface
+New poison spell - gowipers will be able to use another elixir spell rather than waste it on a lightning spell
+New earthquake spell - I believe it has some potential
+New level 5 dragon - should create new or bring back old compositions to spice up th10 raids
Cons:
-Nerfing of barch (increased costs and increased hitpoints of buildings)
-Additional Air Sweeper and new haste spell... Was the air sweeper made so that the haste spell wouldn't be overpowered with lavaloon compositions? Or was the haste spell made so that two air sweepers wouldn't completely nerf air attacks? Either way both seem unnecessary...
-Changes to badges... Just like the color changes made to some walls in the past, the color of the badges just seem dull with the removal of the I in each respective league one (except for champion league one but in Champion league the badges of league two and three are horrid)
-The new feature when typing lengthy messages in clan/global chat is rather annoying
-The new background on troop icons is unappealing... I personally preferred when the number of troops (x2 for example) shared the same hue of blue as the background of the troop and were not separated from the troop icon.

Did anyone noticed lvl 5 drags have the same stats as the OLD lvl 4 one.?
If if you attack a base where there are large gaps between buildings, troops should funnel themselves towards the centre. This isn't happening. The troops work their way along the perimeter. Once they destroy a building there is a gap between the troop and the next building.
Example
Wall
Rubble
Wall
Next building
Now the troops have changed ai, they don't attack walls with rubble behind them. The Wizards aren't heading into the base, they cruise the perimeter because they don't have to bash walls.
One of my biggest problems with the game is the amount of down time. Thank you for working to fix this with spells, but I don't understand why you would increase the cost of the fastest troops to train, barbs and archers. Only disappointing part of the update for me so far. Well, and the fact that we still can't use heroes in war while they are upgrading.
Didn't they say they were an improvement?
ill probably get used to it in a week or so, the little button that shows whether or not the barracks has something going is nice. i definatly like it
I have my barracks in specific spots snd I know which one is the "first" one and put that, my "first" d rax and my 2 spell factory in the same area for easy access. By this point it's muscle memory...
I've never had a problem with "hunting for rax" so I'm curious why they added it. It's a neat addition snd will just take some getting used to.
I never had this problem. Whenever I built a base, I always put the 1st barracks near the corner.
The AT is much more faster than before nd killing the troops.
No matter whethe barch or gibarch.
Now some smart guys will come nd say that creates the balance ??!
I don know wat balance u r talkin about, nd if u have this sentence to type it down here i would like to ask u to save it to youself.
Why sc did not make canon nd mortar faster as at? That made the balance

The dark spells which I have locked show that I have them in my profile
I feel a little disapointed with this update, i find a lot of troublems getting the 100% and all the loots from a very weak th8 basecamps.
I know is to early for this kind of opinion, but i wonder if anyone else think the same.
