Some illogical/stupid rants from players and my response to them...

Love it Regalia. Glad someone spoke up, sick of the threads being littered with whiners!

Wyith my 1.5k post count, I have essentially quit the forums, I only go to DTP's forum group, clan thread and the threads I have previously replied to which I set for me to be automatically subscribed on to see new replies. I only knew about this thread after seeing Regla and Mufa talking aboutu it in clan chat.

The reason is I "quit" is because I have grown tired of reading the endless whining in the forum, some have valid points most are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ed. It all started with the stupid bring back the useless levels outcry and have continued even after the update. The forum is filled with these and I ain't got time for dat. While I don't 100% agree with what Regla posted, he nailed most of it and have just reinforced my reasons for not being as active as before.

Clearly, you hold the belief that players are not forced to gem. I, too, share the same belief, and most assuredly, the belief we hold is a true belief. Yet, so many people appear to hold a contrary belief, as evidenced by their claims. I've spent many years analysing articulated beliefs, and for a wide variety of reasons, people do not always accurately express their intended message. I could go into great detail explaining the true nature of compulsion (and what role it plays in all this), but I'm afraid it would fall on deaf ears, as it would be quite extensive.

Rather, consider why a person that does not want to take a drivers test yet wants to legally drive feels forced to take the test despite his explicit desire not to, especially in light of the fact they are free to go through life never having gotten a drivers license.

I'm not simply going to give you the answer. I want you to think it through. Either way, you're still right, but ... .

I agree with everything you said, i don't gem, and it doesn't bother me if people do, i like seeing my base progress without spending a cent

The thread where you quoted me from - is different- people are directly trying to get a message to staff- therefore they should stay in the thread where the Steve commented on.

This thread is similar yes to a ton of others being made- with a few additional points. But- if staff only has a few minutes to check threads- that Petition thread would get checked by them first.

So you're saying that SC staff actually take the time to read a thread that has over 100 replies where most people are just bashing them? The thread will probably double/triple by the time they actually go about and check it. I just find it hard to believe but seems like you know much better than I how SC functions.

Yet you can get Balloons at TH4, Wizards at TH5, Healer at TH6 and Dragons at TH7.... even though you can raid with mostly lower cost units up to TH8 with no problems. You don't "need" any of these units to be successful at TH8. However with TH9 they started first time giving not 1, but 2 of a new unit which was upgradeable to lvl 3. Now with TH10 they did it again with the inferno tower. Anyone breaking his stick if they had given TH8 one x-bow which you could upgrade to lvl 2 or TH9 one inferno tower they could not upgrade to lvl 2? Not to mention that spells in general would add to a more interesting gameplay for any TH level above TH5 or 6.

They have a great and flawless business model and if you hate how they run things, adapt or get out.

They have a still relatively new game which they will push to the limits and then reconsider what they want to do with it.... shutting it down or create a not as successful but long living game. I mean drug business is a great and flawless business as well... right?
