Who are we?
Sky Alliance (formerly known as Skylords) is a clan started back in may 2013. When we first started off, we were a clan of friends only, but eventually we've grown into a nice little community of clashers, who want to have a fun and chilled time playing Clash of Clans.
Recently, we decided to start fresh and therefore created Sky Alliance. Our goal here is still to keep the clan an awesome place to be, but now with higher standards.
Our members are from all around the world, so there should be someone on most of the time. If you would like to have a nice time in a clan where people interacts and communicates with each other, you should definitely continue reading!
How do we play?
We don't want to force people to have a specific playstyle - you're free to farm, trophypush or whatever you have in mind. We do have expectations for clan wars though, which I will go through right now.
Clan wars
In Sky Alliance, we do wars every weekend - in most timezones, preparation is saturday and battle day is sunday. We take these wars very seriously, and would like new members to do so as well. Like most other clans, we have a few rules for wars, which are listed below:
- Always use both attacks (otherwise opt-out for war)
- No troll attacks (mass goblin, archer or barbarian, to name a few)
- No farming strategies
- Always check chat before attacking (somebody else might want to attack the same base as you)
- Attack a base that's around your level (this will make it easier to find bases for weaker players)
- Have full army camps, spell factory & clan castle before attacking
- No farming bases
- No mixed air/ground attacks, unless you know what you're doing
We also have quite a few experienced war players, who are always ready to give advice for war strategies - don't be afraid of asking for tips and feedback!
Requirements
We do also have a few requirements to join the clan:
- You must be townhall 7 or above with dragons
- No level requirement (however, we tend not to recruit below level 50)
- You can't be rushed
- You must be able to speak english (you don't need to be fluent at all, but some communication is always nice :p)
- You must be able to participate in war most of the time
- No specific age is required (the age of our members varies from around 14 to 46)
- Be active and donate - we don't want members that does nothing but taking up space (if you are going to be inactive for a while, just say it in chat - no problem.)
These requirements might be updated in the furture, as the clan grows stronger from day to day. If you don't meet all of them, you are still welcome to post an application, and we might figure something out.
Ranks
Elder: In order to obtain the elder rank, you must have good war performance as well as a good amount of donations. Elder can be revoked if war instructions aren't followed or if no attacks are done. This might be changed in the furture as well.
Co-leader: The co-leader rank comes with trust and loyality. This rank takes quite a lot of time and dedication to achieve. You have to be very active - both in donations, but also by chatting and helping out other players. Our two co-leaders recently stepped down from the position, as they couldn't be as active anymore, meaning that the spots are open right now.
Leader: The current leader is Chris1789, who is the founder of the clan as well.
