League Improvements

There's no purpose to leagues. Right now, they don't do much, and the loot bonuses are ridiculously tiny. We need bigger loot bonuses, which has been suggested before, and this:

1) You can only attack people in your league. When you move up in leagues, you are now at the bottom of the totem pole with stronger people above you.
EDIT FOR CLARIFICATION: I mean if you are in Crystal I, you can attack ANYONE in Crystal I, not just your 100. There are thousands of people in each league level.

2) Give purpose to the "league season". Players should have to stay in their league for the whole season. Seasons should be lowered in length to maybe 1 week, and players should be automatically placed in their new league based on their trophies as soon as the season ends.

Combine those two, add bigger bonuses, and you have a purpose for leagues (and, evidently, trophies).

The first idea is the point of my thread. But I also like the second idea.

In the first idea I meant still randomized, but if you are in Crystal I you will only be matched with other people in Crystal I. You wouldn't be able to pick the match-up.

So you're telling me that for an entire week I only have 100 targets to choose from? There is no way that is going to work.

If you mean across all leagues, maybe...but I don't think I like that much either. Why should I be restricted to a narrow band of targets? How is that fun?

yeah sadly this idea is a bit annoying.... when people put the idea up they don't realize that you rarely ever attack the same target ever again.... meaning that, those "100 targets" will turn into *browse your remaining 20 targets* :(

Perhaps instead of it just being your league(mabye this is what the OP meant, idk), its your league level. I hope you realize there are multiple sets of leagues at the same level(i.e. idk how many, but there could be 10 purple 1's). So you only attack people at your league level. On Friday(server time, and it could be any day near the end of the season), the top 3(# can be adjusted) of league in a group(i.e. purple 1), get put into their own little league. At the end of the season, the top 3 of that small league get some sort of prize(probably loot, or a very small amount of gems). After it is all over, people are moved up based on their trophy amount normally.

Completely disagree with idea 1. You only have 100 targets to choose from, what happens when 90% of them are shielded or online. You keep hitting next and seeing the same 10 targets all day? Please, that is complete and utter nonsense.

I saw the topic title and was very interested; and now massively disappointed....

Sorry I wasn't clear enough, I have edited the original post to clarify the problem.

I like this idea cause right now i feel what is the perpose of the leagues if they give like 3,000 of each i mean whats the point in getting that and also only the champion league gets dark thats not fair cause every one else low cant get that hope these ideas r added to COC

Why do people keep saying 100? You think out of the what? Millions? Thousands? Of players, that only specifically just 100 are always in your league? Nah it's like global chat, it changes when you reload the game

Only attacking players in your league = no attacking inactive bases.

No attacking inactive bases = much much lower loot and much slower upgrades leading to even more people crying and complaining.

This would mean that inactive bases would still be placed in leagues.

As for the time being i find the league useful, just for the fact of comparing succesful wins, and succesful defends, a high defender generally means a well designed base, a high winner a good army comp. Also great at comparing stats within the clan.

❗Don't change how the league works.
❗Don't give "Free" gems to the No1 player in each league (not your idea but just incase it is brought up)
❗Don't like the league, don't use it.

All they need to do with the leagues is increase the loot acquired, espcially from gold leagues to diamond, to push players in the higher league. Players will always find a farming range, with or with out a league bonus, but higher loot reward may change that or some players.


Also what would be great is loot bonus on each succesful defense, you collect when log back on, that would also sway farmers to defend their Th, rather than camping behind an easy sheild.

I would agree but they added this whole new feature without making it have enough purpose. It needs some mo besides just bonuses.

This thread's old but I really want more feedback.

I think this is a bad idea because if you start out in a league you don't want to be in you have to wait a week to change. This would turn people off from the game.

Don't like the idea of attacking only the people in your leagues n advancing only when the season ends.

But there is a need to add a purpose to the leagues, ATM they r only a badge which tells how good the player is and a lousy bonus(for lower leagues)

I think a bonus should be given for advancing a league(only once).

I agree they only help in finding people whose base is good(defense won)

Maybe there should be compulsion to attack 5 members of your league per season.(from the 100 not from all the leagues)
the number can be increased if u want.
