Trophy Pushing Attack Strategies

Hi, I'm currently making my first push to Champions League and am currently around 200 trophies away. I was wondering, what is everyone's favourite army composition to trophy push with!

I'm going to be using these results on my own base because I've been struggling with attacking lately. Some feedback on what to look for in bases or what army compositions to use would be amazing!

Push armies confuse me. I see a lot of LaLoon armies with like 2 hounds 5-10 archers (not sure what these are for) 20+ loons 3-6 WB (I'm guessing for royals) and rest minions. Now since there aren't any wizards I'll assume that a Cb isn't used and they use a hound in the CC....... So what are the archers used for? Do they lure the CC instead of zapping it (and if so why not use just minions)

Minions are somewhat reliable when it comes to clearing CC troops. Sure, they do more damage than an 2 archers, but the fact that they take up 2 spaces per minions is just... Eh.

Archers are just so much better because if something takes out one, so what? You still got 5 left. A bit less firepower, but nothing just a couple minions can do. Minions get taken out really fast anyways, so why not just take more minion-y troops?

Or reach buildings that are unreachable


However, pertaining to the topic, I say that take out the lava hounds. Loonion is a much faster army and it does just the slightest less than lavaloonion. Sure, you get less tank, but I'd rather just take a CC hound more than actually cook hounds myself. Makes pushing that much easier. And faster.

ok cool. That makes sense (like I said. Push armies are completely foreign to me :p)

As a Th7 at 3110 trophies pushing for champions league like you. I mainly use all dragon army with 2-3 rage spell. Looking for TH outside or reachable TH(not centered and not guarded by air sweeper cuz it will mess my dragon attack).So far so good, at best I can 2s a maxed-out th9 with it.
