Help attacking TH 8 open petal dragon flower base

I need advice on attacking this TH 8 open petal dragon flower base for best chance at 3 stars. I can't get the photo to load, but link to picture is below. I have scoured Onehive, Gadi HH, and Galadon videos and have not come across any examples yet.

I am also TH8 and have:
Lvl 2 golem
Lvl 3 pekka and dragons
Lvl 4 hogs
Lvl 5 wiz, giants, archers, wb, and loons
Lvl 10 BK
Spells: lvl 5 lightening and heal, lvl 4 rage

What would be your recommended troop composition?

I would use hogs on the backend so you dont have to worry about air traps

Personally I would use a giant/wizard army with 5 healing spells starting from one end. that base is so open its surprising you didn't think of this strategy on your own.

Over thinking it of course... I never have really liked giants and haven't used them as a war strategy since I unlocked deragons. However, as I head to TH9, I know I need to get comfortable with them again outside of raiding.

The odds of hitting a SAM are low. You might hit a spring trap if you use hogs, and cannons hit hogs.

Its Th8, so it should be mass dragged in general. But, this is an even more costly alternative than the one you suggested, and I'm trying to give OP the greatest amount of loot for the strategy involved, while also giving him the stars he wants. Do you not know how to use giants, young one?

Huh? Dragons do nothing on any decent TH8 in clan wars any more, everyone has figured out how to stop them. Giants aren't giving him the three stars he wants. It's not that I "don't know how to use giants", it's that giants get flung everywhere by spring traps and bring less hp/space than golems. Do you not know how to tank with dps behind so you're stuck using the far inferior albeit cheaper giant, young child?

This is becoming silly, the base can be three starred with this troop combination I provided at his current levels. If you do not believe me you are free to attack how you wish, but do not try to argue the fact that this can be achieved with this troop combination, because it can be.

Mass dragons are going no where on a base with AD's covered by storages like this, and giants are not a three star war strategy for TH8, especially given the CC.

Here is proof that it can be done at TH8, with a base that is near to the walls that OP's must face and a dragon coming out of CC (which is what normally breaks down this strategy)
