I have everything maxed (including walls) without gold mines and elixir collectors. I have them on lvl GM: 9/9/9/9/9/8 EC: 11/11/11/10/10/10. Is it worth to upgrade them before start th upgrade?

If you have all of your defenses, traps, BK and both DE and Elixir troops (excluding goblins) maxed, then go to th8. Make sure you have full storages when you reach th8. Collectors and Mines are not important if you are a good farmer who can raid for at least 2 hours a day. If you are not that active, then I'd suggest maxing those collectors and mines.
