Help needed in attacking

Hi all,


I’m Alex and just joined the forum.


Need some help as I have hit a wall in my progress.


I maxed townhall 8 apart from one tesla and had all purple walls and 40 skulls. Neglected troops a bit.
Raided a lot using barch and got huge results but now upgraded to Town hall 9 I’m struggling in Silver or gold. Any tips on raiding?

Really hope you guys can help.

I'm not at th9 yet but I can speak for the th9s that steal my precious resources get Giants to lvl 6 and get the archer queen. If you want storages take 14-16 giants a couple wall breakers and some barch. Have fun thrashing 8s with a ton of loot

Thanks will try adding some giants to a barch. I was hoping I could still batch but I have realised I'm a bit of a noob and might need to change things up.

What league do you recommend raiding in?

Yeah giant upgrades are huge at TH9, so is AQ. Take advantage of the 220 spaces as well. As for raiding (farming) cant go wrong with barch for abandoned bases, and Giants with barch and WB's for storage bases. As for war attacks, i think the strongest attack for TH9 right now would have to be lavaloon so make sure you give that a go too.

I'm a near maxed out TH9, and i have had problem of recently farming in Gold league for gold/elixr for wall upgrades so i dropped down to silver 1 and have been making rather good money. Try that out too

Thanks had good luck in Silver 1 when I was a TH8 so will try there.

I will try and upgrade army camps from 200 to 220.

What numbers of troops would you recommend for giants and barch for raiding?

Also my clan doesn't war unfortunately so get no income from that

I climbed to Crystal 1 and I'm town hall snipping with my King (Level 5) and Queen (Level 3) and I make 35k gold and elixir purely on loot bonus. I get the occasional farming base with some good mines and collectors on the outside. I hope this helps.
EDIT: I meant Crystal 3. I'm trying to push to Crystal 2.

Thanks I have only gone as high as gold 1 so far so may try pushing up and TH sniping. Are there many THs on the outside in Crystal?

Anyone else find it a real struggle going from TH8 to TH9 in terms of attacking?
