"They sell better" same with most crop produce is way to many players sell everything at max price for some incoherent reason. There is no reason at all to be selling Strawberries for 500 coins, Tomatos for 432, Peppers for 360, etc... Sellers can't even begin to use all the crop produce for Strawberry Ice Cream, Tomato Juice, Chili Popcorn, etc... faster then they can grow it. So why are you trying to pawn it off at max retail ? Especially when growing & collecting produce at a high clip helps you level up faster & gets B/S/LEM you need / can trade.
Its simple logic, want to sell produce better ? Dont be greedy for a "major important" extra 80-120 coins. If that makes or breaks you then you really should be revising your gameplay abilities. Just gonna call a spade, a spade on that front. Sorry if that "offends" people but its the truth.
This whole game is a "buyers market" to whoever, wherever, and whenever... Freedom of choice to all and sundry...
John.
John's right. The only reason they list for max price is because they sell for max price. And even if they didn't, it's still personal choice to sell for however much you like. I personally like to sell items for a little cheaper (10-50% off max price depending on the item) and get a faster turnover of goods.
Thats another discussion tho, Apples, B-Berries, R-Berries, etc.. are certainly a non sell item for not max profit but even then you're wasting time selling them and not making stuff with them.
10 B-Berries is 828 - 5 B-Muffins is like 1,257 or something.
The main topic is crop produce, and if you need the coins but can't sell them due to price point you have set then what exactly are you making ? You can either sell 10 Tom. for example at 375, plant more and sell another batch of 10 for 375, in sane day or you can stick them on your stall for days hoping someone is foolish enough to buy them for max profit.
1,500 over 2 days > hoping someone pays 430 or w/e 10 Tom go for, net profit point gain of at least 1,100 coins.
Hi Kaylin, blackberries again! Why would you sell them at all when you can make jam or drinks from them. I love that you do because I buy them to do that rather than buy endless bushes which are so expensive, but I can't understand the logic behind 'raw' fruit sales at all. Neither can I understand anyone who tries to peddle 10 eggs for 180, I'm completely with ScottietheDog on that, as for full price strawberries or rotten tomatoes, my ghast is flabbered! Does anyone buy them? I suppose it's panic buying for boat orders.
They are very hard to come by, and potatoes are nearly as hard to find. I once searched for ages for both of these for a boat order and really struggled to find them. So now I produce and sell toms and pots and they are snapped up pretty sharpish. I'm saving for the tractor so every coin helps!
If you're looking for them - then they are nowhere to be found :D
Like sometimes I hunt for milk (I only have 5 cows, level 52) and one DD after another - nothing, then finally I find twenty and after that every single ad seems to have milk, hehe.
I've never had too much trouble finding tomatoes in stalls. Sure the roasted tomatoes outnumber the plain tomatoes. But there are things that are made with tomatoes that go towards boat orders and truck orders.
There's no hard and fast rules to how a person plays the game (OK so I'm massively broke... oh well...) but it's a matter of luck and/or time of the day really. Have seen tons of berries and don't mind them being sold- I have- mostly because either I don't need anything using them right now or I don't have the MACHINE.
As for max price vs default vs dirt cheap; you can debate that til the cows come home but it is still a matter of preference even with the fastest growing crops. It's a bit annoying to be called "foolish" for buying at max price- have bought at max and at cheap. If it's there, I better damn well grab it.
How do I find tomatoes??? Can I buy a plant??? If so where??
