Zero stars loss, 1 star draw, 2-3 stars win - my new idea
I have been playing and to me the whole idea of the game is to defeat the town hall and score the win. But many people are getting one star wins for 50% without even getting close to the TH. Hence I'd like to propose the following for battles.
Zero stars = Loss for the attacker. Pretty simple this.
One Star = A draw. Meaning you can't just kill the TH for an easy win. Mostly relates to farmers with non defended TH's to lose trophies. It also means you can't defend your TH and storages a lot but lose cause the enemy picks off 51% of your buildings. And in a draw, no one would win or lose any trophies.
Two or Three stars = A win for the attacker. So to win you have to get 50% + destroy the TH or destroy the lot.
This would help the issue of high level players saying it's too hard to defend against high level attacks, cause with my suggestion you can't just pick off 51% or do a TH rush to win. You have to have that 2nd star for the win.
What does everyone think about this?
[edit] For clarification. With a draw or a loss, you still keep every resource you have farmed. My idea is only about how trophies are exchanged. A draw is zero trophies exchanged, but you keep all the resource you farmed. What I said with a draw above is simply that with my proposed idea tactics would change as you could no longer cheese 50% for trophies. The attacker would have to earn their trophies with 2* or 3* it also gives leeway if you get 1* you lose nothing.
