best TH8 war attack?

So TH7 was all dragons and lightning. However I seem to be struggling with all dragons at TH8.

What do you think would be the most universal attack to 3star in CW at TH8?

Mass drags/hogs

Depends on the base, open large compartments, gowipe, open clustered compartments, gowiva, tons of compartments, hogs/drags.

Hogs suck till lvl4, so get them there if using.

Dragloon is a viable 3 star strategy as a TH8. Otherwise, I still argue that level 4 hogs are the best option. However, there is one caveat with using them: YOU MUST LURE THE CC.

Mass drag, but with rage and heal spells

Dragoon or hogs.

Dragons with CC Loons and Rage or Rage/Heal will 3-star 90% of TH8 bases if properly executed. Proper Hog Attacks will 3-star about 60% of TH8 bases. They overlap a bit, and which you use depends on the base. But between these two, you can 3-star pretty much any TH8

GoWipe variations with loons and hogs..

It is very useful in th8 as you unlock the pekka and golem so you need to go for gowipe attack! It is deadly

max TH8 gowipe (level 2 golem, level 3 pekka, cc with max pekka) can 3 stars fellow max TH8 bases with the right spell placement.

for stars cleaning in war, mass Level 4 hogs very useful provided you know where the big bombs are.

We only use this for 2 stars against opponents that can't be dragged or hogged. usually we use lvl 3 hogs with lightning and bloons in cc or mass lvl4 hogs

dunno, i think its depend on the base.. lvl3 hogs are fine, just dont use mass hogs if you have lvl3, instead use hybrid attack like goho or holo, take a look at valhalla files
