Hello,
For the past several months I have focused strictly on walls (currently th9). My strategy has been farm gold/elixer buying Lv 8 walls at 500k gold and Lv 9 at 1 mil elixir. I also upgrade troops in between but they're 10-12 day wait times. I am nearing 100% lv 8 walls and have about 15% lv 9 walls. What level wall is a good place to stop to focus on defensive buildings?
do defense first, then walls. but if you wanna do walls first, then do lvl 9, work on defense, then do lvl 10. not much need for lvl 11 IMO, but they do help

You can leave one worker on walls and rest on defense tho
I'm at TH9 and I have 39 lava walls left, stopping here. Not going for the max walls!
I maxed my TH9 defense as well as finished legos.
Now working on lavas
I won't upgrade to 10 untill I have 100 lavas
I would say do defenses walls simultaneously, with a bit of extra emphasis on defenses. Basically, aim to have all lego walls completed by the time your TH10 upgrade finished. That way you'll have lego walls throughout your TH10 development, which gives you strong walls for the duration of TH10, and you won't have to work on lava or zap walls until your TH10 defenses are maxed.
Once your TH10 defenses and lab are maxed, you'll need something to dump gold and elixir into. So walls that cost 3 and 4 mil a piece will be perfect for that while you wait for the inevitable TH11 update.
One builder for walls, two for heroes, and two for defenses.
This is the best long time plan. Heroes and walls takes so long time to finnish compare to the other things, so they should get priority. Heroes priority and walls for farming. Most people who rush defenses end up with like a years worth of heroes and walls to finnish after their defense buildings.Quote:
