Balance Clan Wars Based on Clan Level More

I have noticed that clan wars tend to be rather unbalanced when it comes to clan level. Clan level is both an indicator of how good a clan is and a way for the clan to earn perks, so getting paired up with a higher-level clan than yours is a significant challenge, even if it is only by one level (a level 4 clan would have a tough time beating a level 5 clan, for example). My clan has repeatedly faced off against a clan with a level different from ours (over 20 times by now), and the higher-level clan has won almost every time. Fortunately, I have never seen a war with a level difference of 2 or more, but even a difference of 1 clan level is huge. Hopefully, this can be balanced so clan wars are almost always between clans of the same level.

Clan level itself means nothing considering you can war 3 times a week. Even if you only manage to defeat all the bases for 1 star you get most of the exp. you can be a level 5 clan but still not win a war ever.

I would say the clan level has a small advantage, but it is not insurmountable. We are clan level 4 and three of our last five wars have been against level 5 clans. We have won all of those, two of them with ease. Clan level does not always indicate how well a clan wars. Sometimes it just indicates how frequently they war.

The perks associated with clan level do not really impact the clan war until you hit clan level 5 and you get a bonus level on donated troops. Before that, a clan receiving extra war loot our having extra loot storage in their CC has virtually no impact on the war itself.

But even at clan level 5, that advantage is not insurmountable.

The best clan ever made could have possibly just been put together today and is now a lvl 1 clan. It wouldn't be fair for them to only be put against lvl 1 clans and never lose (based on your theory of clan level and strength).

I wouldn't really say that a level 5 clan has an advantage by being able to donate higher level troops. All means is that more people can donate higher troops. I have 3 th 10s in clan. I always get max troops for everything. Doesn't help at all that we will soon be level 5. Nothing to be insurmountable in that scenario

Agreed. At least for your case. But picture two clans that do not have any TH10s. The one with the clan level 5 perk has an advantage. Again, I'm not saying it's an earth shattering advantage. But it is still an advantage.
