Bad idea, this will lead to more snipers and fill the storages easily. Nothing is simple to achieve but as ur th 8 i suggest u to join gold 2 or 1 if stronger base crystal 3 will be good to farm.
I farm 5-6 million gold 10-20 k DE per day on crystal 2&1

This encourages sniping (guaranteed win) to keep the streak going, and hurts farmers / collector raids.
Might be more interesting if you limited the use of the Next button. I'd like the idea more if the bonus multipliers reset if you use the Next button. (i.e. You want the bonus, you have to attack and get a star on every base you see.)
Not sure what the sweet-spot mathematically is for the multiplier (SC can figure that out). Good enough that it's worth trying to attack every base you see, but not so low that it's better to ignore it completely.

Anything that takes this game from being the TH snipe-fest up in higher leagues that it currently is to something where your base is always at risk from a legitimate full-arsenal attack gets my vote.
I supported an idea back in the day about there being league bonus multipliers following this example:
1-star: % of league bonus awarded based on % of damage dealt to base
2-star: 100% league bonus awarded
3-star: multiplier applied to league bonus, varies between each league
You would obviously have to increase the league bonuses again across the board, but a little bit at least. But then it would be more profitable from a league bonus perspective to go for full on attacks, aiming for 2-3 stars. TH sniping for league bonus farming would be a thing of the past, which would put more bases out in the matchmaking queue.
I really like your idea about consistent 2-star attacks though; maybe they double the current multiplier for 3-star attacks during the consecutive 2-star stretches? So if you 2-star your first two raids, the second raid gets the 1.1x multiplier. Then if you 3-star the third, that would be 1.4x, and if you 2-starred the fourth, 1.3x. Every 3-star thereafter, assuming you keep at least the 2-star attacks chaining, would bring you a 1.6x multiplier. This could actually give to go for heavier attacks in high crystal leagues and maybe even masters.
EDIT: Just re-read your main post again as I couldn't understand how so many people thought this would continue to encourage TH sniping, as I assumed you only factored the elevated loot with consecutive 2-star attacks. Change it so that a 1-star attack resets your multiplier back to 1.0, and maybe only if you 3-star the base does it increase your boost. Consecutive 2-star attacks would get the current loot multplier that you're at, but they wouldn't bump you up to the next multiplier, only 3-star attacks would.
Another thing to consider ... would this encourage attacking down?
i.e. As a TH8, giving me a multiplier makes up for the 10% loot penalty for attacking a TH7. Furthermore, only attacking TH7 bases keeps my streak alive.
Maybe a simplified idea is simply:
2 stars = 150% league bonus
3 stars = 200% league bonus

Not exactly. Let's say you're in Gold 2. The 1.1x multiplier would only make up for the 10% loot penalty if the TH7 was offering 11k/11k loot to attackers (and who would want to hit that base anyway, yanno?). Yes, this would encourage attacking down a TH, but it would encourage doing that up in higher leagues, where the league bonus is actually significant enough for the multiplier to be a deciding factor in using a heavier army or to deploy spells to get the full 3-stars.Quote:
