Is anyone else still not over the ditches costing diamonds?
I am still so fed up about it.
The thread showing them all looking so lovely is just making me feel worse.
Supercell, do you think you would ever consider changing them to less diamonds or coins?
It might not be going away but I suspect this thread will (merge). 😊
Just teasing a little. I'm sorry you're feeling badly still. Once I decided to vote with my wallet I started feeling better bit by bit. I've also noticed that nobody in my farm "community" (followers, friends, NH) has ditches or trails. Whether SC will do anything about the cost is anybody's guess. They may not care if it's long term. I do the only thing I can and that's not spend on them.
They ARE pretty and that was never the issue was it? Again, really sorry you feel awful. I know exactly how it is. The first 48 hours were rough. Hope it gets better soon...:-)
Just a guess, but i would say the price is the price.
They are high premium items way nicer than other stuff
Lots of people have bought them
If you think there is complaining now, imagine what would happen if they dropped or change pricing. The ones who already purchased would be righfly furious.
There are lots of free diamonds in the game. When you get to level 200 you get 100. Once all production slots are opened, not too much to spend them all. I am not quite there, but when i do it is ditch time.
I agree with haydayforum, I think they are premium.
In fact, I like that they are "expensive" because they are a great addition to the decoration and will totally change your farm :D
If any change would happen to the price I would be satisfied with 5 diamonds.
I'll just go on record to say that as someone who has purchased lots of ditches, I would not be mad if they lowered the price, lol.

I don't recall SC ever reducing any of the deco items , increasing them yes ... I may be wrong & I'm sure someone will correct me if I am .
I do recall them dropping the price from 10 to 5 diamonds for calling the boat in early though.
I have a couple of solutions! These are the most brilliant solutions in the history of brilliant solutions!
1) Instead of asking SC to reduce the cost of the ditches and trails, we ask them to give us more free diamonds! Like, 16 per day simply for logging in! A sort-of "thank you" gift for playing.
2) SC makes diamonds available for purchase with in-game coins.
You may reward me for my brilliant solutions with 80 free diamonds.

Edit: Just thought of another one. Instead of diamonds, we pay for ditches with SHOVELS!!

I agree with the others that the cost is just too expensive. Those prices make those decorations not aimed at lower level or cost-conscious farmers.
They are not aimed at cost-conscious, high-level farmers either. I bought the scooter, no problem , I opened my pasta kitchen immediately and expanded slots on the pasta maker and pasta kitchen, no problem, but I will think long and hard about buying any ditches or trails.

Although I have some ditches now I'm still annoyed. It is too obvious that they want to make money out of this. To make it look good you just need a lot of ditches and paths. Thats why they made it premium items. The cost is way too high I think. 3 maybe 4 would be much better. But what can we do? I just don't buy any diamonds anymore until I have all the ditches I want....
