If you could get infinite free gems would you?

First off, Mods you have no right to close this, I am not advertising free gems or offering gem hacs. Maybe you do and there's this rule I missed or something, but THIS IS ONLY A HYPOTHETICAL SITUATION.

The question is, If one day you loged on, and a box came up that said," do you want infinite gems?" Would you take it?
In this hypothetical you cannot get banned.
Also keep in mind, this is only happening to you. Nobody else Is getting this free gems message on COC.

Were polls removed from the forum? There is no option to make one?

Well just write in the comments or think about it, sorry.

once you got the free gems, you would never have to raid again, you could just gem everything. You would quickly lose interest in the game.

Yes, I would of course take it. And polls were removed in General, but aren't elsewhere I believe.

It would be super tempting and I probably would, but it might ruin any sense of accomplishment in the game. I would have to set conditions like the gems could only be used for boosting barracks and speeding up hero upgrade time.

I agree, it would feel like playing a game that takes time (Best example would be something like Farming Sim because it's time consuming and you get $) with in appurchases all bought - no sense of accomplishment what so ever.

No I would absolutely NOT want to walk up to one of my friends and flip my phone sideways and BAM, maxed TH10 shows up. Absolutely not...

I would donate them to Supercell to fund a research to upgrade the queen and pekka's IQ.

Of course I would take it. But I wouldn't use the gems to buy resources. Like you mentioned, if you had infinite gems, you would have the ability to never raid again for resources. But raiding and war is what the game is built on. I wouldn't take that part of the game away from myself.

With infinite gems, one of the biggest perks would be the ability to gem your armies and spells. Boosting barracks and the spell factory would be pointless. Of course, I would gem heroes for war AND for regular use, and gem an upgrade when I have enough resources to start another upgrade.

None of those uses would take away from the enjoyment of the game, and in fact it would enhance it.

I would stop playing.

If I got that offer, everybody else gets it as well and while I would not use the gems for ressources, many people would do it and the game would be full of max bases, which would be completely boring.

I wouldn't take it, that would be like a waste. The game would have no use or anything. Then you'll just see everyone maxed and it would be boring.

For sure I'd take it. I wouldn't gem my base though just armies and hero upgrade times so I can always war and raid with both heroes.

I wouldn't take it cause I like it just the way it was implemented to be.

This pretty much. I'd take it, not because I want infinite gems, but because I want about 30k gems to remove hero upgrade times.

Hell theres no way for infinite free gems. No way. If u keep on upgrading town, well dedemded , all maxed units. Youll feel bored. This game required you to take time upgrade units and buildings. But if there is a moderator(moderator plays) base it wud be good. They will provide massive gold and elixir for us to raid. Unguarded and open. Secondly, why not they change gold and elixir generating time to ex. 50 golds/elixir per second or 1 golds/elixir per second

I'd take it and use it to speed up all upgrades and offensive upgrades. But I wouldn't buy resources with them

I would rather have infinite air sweepers ;)

I would do it, however i wouldnt gem any part of my base except my king, queen, and other troops.
i would continue to farm all my stuff while gemming armies

Nah it would ruin the game. Half of the fun is anticipating that next big upgrade.

Yes I would take them because I would not have to buy any more.
But I would not use them except for boosting and occasional gemming of some troops (for example if I have to go off and somebody needs loons for cw) or if I see that all my troops are done but I need 1 more wizard.
I think if it was free I would gem hero upgrade time to use them in cw but not for the prices hey are now.

Infinite is a little much. I'd take enough to max my heroes and lab, the rest I'd like to farm myself.

Isn't this already happening in the top 3 clans? "Infinite gems" for the top 3 at the end of each season. And its usually mega empire, emirates, and whoever sooo I guess the rest of us losers will never know

I would take it and max everything out on that account. That should help with wars, and then it will help level up other accounts. Clanmates, who are my family members, would also benefit from max level donated troops. Like I said, there is always the second account, etc. to work on after getting that first one to max.

As someone with basically a max th10 (about 200 zaps to go :( ) this isn't as much fun as it should be, most people that play the game's first questions are either "wow how much money did you spend" and then you have to explain to them that you play for hours a day and have done more attacks in the current season than they ever have, or "can you join my clan" or "can I join your clan" which you have to decline, because they are probably a th8 with pink walls.

Yup I'm maxed everything except for walls and those are just a grind. Would probably trophy push to see how far I could get insta gemming armies, spells, heroes.

Yes I'd take them considering 70% of my current gems are normally spent on troops or to finish off the last few hours of an upgrade I certainly wouldn't max out though, I don't want this game to get boring

I would do it but only use them for gemming troops and hero upgrade time. No other time or resource as then you'd just max your base and itd be boring

I would only use these gems to buy more builders, speed up training, upgrade troops and heroes, and speed up upgrades. But I wouldn't use it to buy resources and max everything. I would also probably use these gems to upgrade walls maybe not all of them but most of them.

The top ten players in the top three clans each get 2k gems, which, for many of them, doesn't pay back what they spend.

How is far do you think 2k gems will go?

I'd take it but only to speed troops when I'm too busy to wait or to gem troops for my clannies in war. Gemming a max base ruins the whole experience for me;):cool:

Why should it be off-topic? It is related to clash and have no other category to be put in. This is the right place IMO

I would max ma base then max my mini then create 8 more accounts and max them. Make a clan that wars erryday, when the clan gets to lvl 10 open it let noobs join then I donate :cool::thumbsup:.

At first it feels great unlocking everything the game has to offer. You get to play with things you'd otherwise be waiting months for. After a while though you'll be left feeling bored and empty and lose interest playing the game.
