I run a Christian clan and we like to keep the language clean. However, some new people get in the clan and start inviting people from global. This usually brings in people who use the foulest of language, and then turn around and leave the clan immediately.
In the clan chat, it just says "SoAndSo has joined the clan". It is hard to tell who invited people from global. Can you please change this to say something like "SoAndSo was invited by Clan Member and joined the clan."

Regarding flaming for Christianity. Really, children, grow up. There are many Christian clans in Clash of Clans, and as members, we have a great time getting to know each other. And your opinion means nothing to me, so, really, don't waste your typing on me. Incidentally, Fanboy65... this isn't the place for it, but if you would like to 'put your money where your mouth is', and have a serious debate on the legitimacies, historical evidence, literary evidence, etc. of Christianity, I would be happy to send you an email address with which we can communicate.
Be slower to promote to elder is recommended. Easy promotions devalue the promotions.
Definitely agree, just as in "invite only" you get to see who accepted the applicant, so you should be able to see who invited the outsider.
Still, don't blame the inviter too harshly. It is very hard to invite quality players, if you don't know them. The pool of players in global who are not in clans are often not in clans for a reason, such as they don't work well in clans, or they don't want to be.
I agree, and I am slow to promote people to elder. The policy we have taken and it works well for us is to not invite people from global, because, as you say, it can be hard to get good people from there. We've done best getting quality players by letting them find us by our clan name.Quote:

I thought the idea had merit. I have been in a clan that I was co leader in and we had a fellow that was by all means one of the best clan members you could want. He was disgruntled by something and started causing silly problems like inviting th3 people into clan. No one could tell what was happening until he told us all a few choice words and finally left clan. Would have saved a lot of trouble if I could have dealt with the problem before hand. You can have a person that is around forever in clan and one day doesn't want to be anymore and will cause all kinds of trouble just for kicks.

I don't agree necessarily that inviting TH3s is a bad thing. I welcome them. Just don't let them in wars until you know they are going to stick with the game. I find more than half TH3s stop playing without notice. However, even if a TH3 is in the war and doesn't attack, it doesn't hurt the clan. The benefit of TH3, and 4-5, is that on taking them in, helping them develop, they sometimes become very loyal members.
I think if SC can show who:
- started/stopped clan war search
- accepted/rejected a new member
- kicked out a member
- promote/demote a member
- changed clan description
Just to list a few off the top of my head.... then I don't see any issue in showing who invited new members.
