Sounds like a plan godzsogood.......will give it a try.
Nothing working today......after about 7 try's to open game it opened, I swiped event flyer away, milked 5 cows and it froze....I waited because sometimes it let's go of freeze but not this time....couldn't get back on :(
so I guess I'm supposed to do something else today :)
this is getting to a point where I tire of waiting for it to be fixed....
Thought I would try my farm today just to see if there was a chance I would get to play. Not a flipping chance. Three attempts just to get to the clouds. I see that the same names are still trying in this forum to play & that the powers that be are silent & are still ignoring their customers. To both sides I would say wake up. We should not put up with such poor customer service & Supercell should realise that there are people not just on this forum but on th app store & other sites now giving this game terrible reviews. That will cost them money. Ignoring the problem will not make it go away, just players who are a revenue source. If they cannot dignify your queries with a response, walk away. I've learnt in life the only way any complaint is acknowledged is when it will cost the other side financially. I know it's sad not being able to access your farm, I miss mine, but I've found other things to do. I'll probably check in once a month to see if any improvements have occurred, but as I'm about to get a new iPad I think this will be the death of my farm.So Supercell you've lost another veteran player & one who will spread the word of this fiasco to anybody thinking of downloading this game.
Between events, I can sort of play with frequent crashes. No change there STILL. But, I know that in the eastern US time zone, at 8PM (7 when we do daylight savings time), the wheel comes up and the mailman comes and events start. One started tonight. I was filling a boat and got the popup of the event level gift when I sent it off. I did not realize what time it was. And, after I was done doing stuff, I turned my iPod off. When I loaded the game again, no stinking clouds or trying to work around a buggy, slow running, crashing game that I normally get when events are running.
Shocking but happy about finding this out. Maybe it will help others.
I had same problem here but it should be easily solved. Turn off your Ipad completely and make sure all apps are fully closed (dubble tap home button, tab pops up beneath and press on the cross in the corner). Wait a few minutes and restart your Ipad. This should work.
Yes, this works for SOME iPad 1 but there are thousands with this issue on multiple iOS and android devices. Hayday is aware but it is very widespread and very random. I have an iPod 4th gen and so does my daughter. Hers is less crashy than mine. I even went so far as to reinstall the iOS on my 64gb with 50gb free space and mine crashes A LOT! Read comments on iTunes (the stars don't match the reviews) since this thread started. It is sickening that supercell has still not fixed this. It has been happening for years after updates. Those times it was fixed faster than this time.
I'm starting to have issues with starting Clash of Clans now... It's just happening this morning but I hope it's nothing like Hay Day :/
I could play HayDay on my Ipad 1 for some days, with a crash once in a while.
But this morning, it does nothing else but crashing.
It crashes when the clouds are disappearing.
In the near past this was the crashing moment several times!
This morning I was at my brothers house and I tried Hay Day on their Ipad.
The game did start and he could play the game.
But the interesting thing is, when the clouds disappeared a message telling 'there was a new event' appeared.
Could this (the flying newspaper) be the problem in my Ipad 1?
