8 diamonds per tiny piece. You guys have stooped to a new level of disgusting. And 30 purple and 10 gold for a kitten? Finally, the disturbing gyrations you have added in for Tom as he waits on you to decide what item to fetch are creep .

I buy lots of diamonds, and spend them accordingly, lol, but even I thought the price was a bit high considering a lot of pieces are necessary to make a good stream, etc. I did buy quite a few, but only because I got a nice large iTune gift card. Otherwise, I might not have bought as many as I did.
This reminds me of the holiday fence.
From what I understand the first year it was 2 diamonds. Reasonable. I think last year it had crept up to 5 diamonds per piece (or am I thinking of the Halloween fence?) but it was my first Hay Day Halloween (or Christmas) and I wanted to decorate. So I bought some. And I was happy.
So now the ditch and trail comes out at 8 diamonds, EIGHT, per piece. Now I buy diamonds often, but out of principle I find this: Way. Too. Much. Consequently, even though I arranged my farm when I saw the sneak peek because I was so excited about them (esp. the ditch), I guess I'll just arrange it back, because I won't be buying any of either.
Shame.
I agree. Why couldn't we switch it to vouchers or something? Or at least do a promo where new items are 50% off the diamonds/coins etc.
After my phone going crazy all morning my NH voted for some changes. First off we love Hay Day. However I personally pay for diamonds for 4 family members. Another NH member pays for three family members. Our last two members are on limited incomes. We all voted in favor of reducing what we spend on Hay Day and to look around for another game we can all play together that will be more affordable for everyone involved. As one member put it, "I am feeling like the poor relation. I buy diamonds to pay for Tom, basically a subscription, with a few extras for game play. This is starting to go beyond my means." Guess that sums it up for a lot of people. Very sad.
You know what my problem is with this. It's that the first piece isn't a whole piece. It's just like the fences. You don't get a whole fence, you get just the post. So the price while still a bit excessive is deceiving. I really think that the first piece should either be a whole piece or should only cost one or two diamonds and then the second and more could cost the full price. Ok ok I still think eight is a bit steep. I never planned on getting them but I had hoped you all would be able to so I could admire your work.

To all of you who have a few pieces of the ditch, can you show us how well they connect to the decor ponds? I know they won't blend seamlessly, but can you at least create an impression of a stream flowing from/to a pond? If so, I might buy a few pieces for my new land on the other side of the road. It's a small piece of land so shouldn't cost too much.
I was so pumped and excited for this update and there are so many things i like about it!
BUT...
OH MY GOSH, ditches and trails are 8 diamonds a piece? Be real supercell, no one has that many diamonds!! I was very thankful that you were giving me something i could make my farm ever so beautiful with, but now? These are useless, you disgust me. No one is able to afford it unless you buy hunks and hunks of diamonds, and no one is going to do that. These need to be available for coins like every other path option. Quit making beautiful things out of reach for people who cannot afford to spend tons of money on this game!
There is already a thread expressing discontentment at this. Probably best to keep it all in one thread.
