I know how you feel lol. I am probably the worst attacker in CoC history with giant healer. And I am not looking forward to trying GoWiPe or GoWiVa. 😂😂
My advice is to always lure out the clan castle troops. A bunch of wizards would destroy a group of giants in a heart beat.
Also the base you attacked barely had any loot.
Certain steps you should always follow:
1. Lure the CC!!! Giants won't target cc troops until ALL the defenses are dead. And guess who the cc troops are targeting first? Yeah, your giants.
2. ID the base as a viable target: if the Air Defenses are deeply nested and levevl 4+ (1 rocket per level) .. the next button is your friend
3. Eliminate the Air Defense(s): Even if the base is stronger than what you have, giant/healer can help you overcome that. They need to be at least a little exposed (behind only 1 layer of walls) or, like you did, bring heal spells to heal the giants through until the AD goes down.
4. Have the right firepower to back them up. You probably took too many giants TBH. With only 1 wizard and 16 barbs as your killsquad with no attacking cc, you didn't stand much chance. Maybe trim down to 10 giants and pack extras in your cc. Use the extra 25 spaces for 4 more wizards and 9 more barbs. That would put you at 5 wiz and 25 barbs, giving you much more DPS to power through the base.
why would u even bother with that puny loot? as a th 6 i wont go for anything below 150k combined loot and as a th 7 i wont go for anything below 200k combined.

Sorry, I spend a lot of time on other places that are Q/A sites and not forums. And your post is relevant, I had spaced on the part where the OP complained about elixir cost versus available loot.
