SOLUTIONS: For Clan War draws/ties

Is it a problem? no. Is it fun? nope.

It just seems to me that most ties would come from:

- all TH7 and lower clans (although with mis-matchmaking this would still not be very common) due to the fact that every TH7 and TH8 base can be 3-starred with mass dragons, 3 heal spells, and a cc of balloons

- defenseless clans, as while they get the easiest matchups against bases 1-2 THs below them as their mirrors, they have no defenses and so long as everyone on the lower leveled clan attacks, they should both get full stars

- the last I could see would be all TH10 clans where 3-starring is still very difficult even for experienced attackers, one slip up can result in a 1 star and lazy 2-star attacks are very common. This problem could benefit from a 4-star system vs looking for a tiebreaking method, though.

If you're drawing all the time, I think you need to look at the type of base progression your clan is applying to their gameplay. Are they mostly dedicated to the "I'm going to max everything first" approach? B/c while there's nothing wrong with wanting to do that, it's highly inefficient for both overall base progression and will hinder you in wars. Maxed defenses on a TH8 still will never withstand a new TH9 using GoHog on your base with 4 heal spells, and good luck trying to 3-star that premie TH9 with all the new traps and defensive structures, even if they're not near maxed yet.

We allow our members to progress however they wish, but we tell those who decide to "max first" that we will constantly keep a close eye on how they setup their bases for war, as if they're going to sacrifice going full offense to be able to pick up two 3-star attacks no problem, then we need to know that they won't be 3-starred by the first attack thrown at their base.

With many of our members going the offensive-geared premie route, we rarely ever tie. Despite our war base engineering so that we get matched up against maxed bases a TH below ours, we still get some pretty bad TH mismatches not in our favor (it happens). But because we place our highest priority on being a warring clan, we have the offensive capabilities to handle those mismatches in what usually amounts to victories that aren't even remotely close. If we tie, or come close to tying, it's typically a result of us not handling the bases we needed to up top (our last 45 member war resulted in a 123-121 victory b/c I fell asleep before I used my 2nd attack on my TH9 mini, which would have gotten us 2-3 more on the last remaining #5 TH9 base, but if we tied or lost b/c of that, completely on me.)

I'm sure you guys are relatively decent attackers, but if you want to commit to wins over draws, you need to look at external factors among your clan that will affect outcomes like that.
