I like the troop idea but I personally think if they do make another king or queen it would have to do with minions seeming that they did with the two weaker of the regular baracks.
I like where your thought process is, but I think dark barracks should continue to just produce way different beasts than regular barracks whilst not being completely OP until upgraded like normal.
I really loved the lava hound addition because in my opinion it was done really uniquely and tastefully, even though I don't air raid and use them very often.
If they were to introduce another hero though... a dark hero of some kind would be really awesome.
Perhaps you're allowed to only use a maximum of 2 heroes per raid or something so that it's not ridiculous overkill
