CoC on mobile platforms have already been h@cked to the point where you have infinite resources.
On a PC, you have lots more things to do. Who knows? Maybe if they release it on PC, there will be a h@ck where you could enter any trophy amount and get that. Maybe there will be one where your troops are invincible. There is no telling what will happen. On mobile, there are tons of limitations, so that's safe. But on PC, there is almost no limit.
The h@cks they did are just on a client side. Data on the server side doesn't get altered. They just make themselves look like fools and they even brag these sugar coats on social media platforms that they got this and that huge resources/gems. But in reality and actuality, they don't. I see a lot of these foolish brags on Facebook.
They can only do dirty tweaks on the client side, but definitely not on the server side. But SC can put effective measures to prevent that from happening.
