Very Slow Sales at Roadside Shop

It does feel like there's a lag between placing the ad and getting customers. I usually advertize with something very common, like eggs, but practically everything gets bought up fairly quickly.
Now they just seem to sit there for quite a while, then maybe one or two items get picked up (but that could be followers doing some shopping) then more waiting, and eventually everything gets bought in quick succession.
I price things fairly reasonably, except for the items that take a long time to make or are in particular high demand, so the price at least is not the reason.

I like my shop to be cleared that I can set it up again. The in-between-ads time I try to keep stuff for neighbours, especially if there are crates to fill and trees to revive.

no...a reseller is ANYONE who enter a newspaper ad and see cheap stuff...
more chance until some one who needs it see it, it will be gone buy someone who just want it cheap

EDIT: ATM im running a corn for 20 ad, all my 70 stalls are corn...
cleared VERY slowly...minutes waiting for a wave...
when i was selling corn for 69 before i couldnt backfill fast enough like with wheat!

i always do boat orders and I've tried doing truck orders too. Placing ads also. I've played this for months and never had this problem until the update the other day so I'm doing everything's can even been using gems to place ads and using them didn't sell most stuff. I'm also selling to the little people.

I wouldn't be coming here and annoying people if I was able to get things going with these suggestions but I've tried everything and I'm not getting buyers for anything. My connection is online. Uninstalled and reinstalled. In 2 days Greg and Tom bought 1 item and even I used gems sometimes and no-one bought stuff. I had heaps of instant buyers who've disappeared. It's as if I'm playing alone.

Sorry for repeating myself but its 2 days now. Have emailed tech support no reply so far.

selling is slower..its a fact..yea cakes and ice cream will go fast BUT
the whole point is that the traffic seemed to be much lower...people do buy, everything, but slower.
premium products will still sell because the first to see them buys them...i alwais buy juice/jam/ice creams/cakes
i never even have time to look at the price i just jump on it. (if its from the DD, im not raiding my neighbours!)

still somthing is wierd with how it works now

so you're saying you have been doing truck/boat orders and still unable to get rid of stuff in your barn or at least make some money? how is it possible? also, i didn't know tom the errand boy is able to buy stuff from you, i thought he only fetches.

Tom and ♥♥♥♥ (I mean Greg) usually come to buy the left-overs from the shop. Not that I've seen them in a while.

Okey worldcitizen1919 I bought everything left in your shop. I don't usually care to buy a lot of crapola for full price, so beware! ;) A couple of question to you though, first why aren't you growing any crops? and second - you haven't opened any crates in your boat? And a suggestion - add a picture to your GC profile!

Anyway see if it'll start working better, SC is clearly doing minor adjustments all the time so it'll proll' get better sooner or later.

Thanks very much for helping out. I was growing crops all day but then just gave up when everything filled up. the same with the boat no-one helped anymore and I couldn't fill the order so I gave up. I love this game and its people like you that make this game what it is. I'll keep persevering like you said. Thanks for the encouragement.

No worries. Maybe you could experiment with prices and quantities a little if the sales are still jamming?
I think the one thing that might really help is getting more GC friends. Everyone plays differently of course. I wasn't even on the GC until I was somewhere close to level 40 if I remember correctly. I'd managed my captain III and everything all by my lonesome hehe:rolleyes: but having more neighbours now is really nice.
