Very Slow Sales at Roadside Shop

The DD has definitely changed, for the better I think, but my general thoughts are that if someone is advertising their three berry cakes or their four roasted toms at full price hoping for their ad to have a long stay in the paper, it'll be there forever as far as I'm concerned, I'm never going to be seduced into visiting your shop by it. I'm shopping with the folks that have those little unassuming ads for 5 eggs at 50.

i dont understand people that sells eggs full price too...BUT
i found many building materilias and premium foods from those max price ads, and i have a fair chance grabbing it because as you say, those ads have less traffic.

i buy anything i need at full price, i dont care about price. selling cheap is stupid in my opinion since its grabbed by reseller before the real one who needs it see it. but if you sell only to friends, no ads at all, than its legit.

i noticed almost all my papers looks the same, ok its not B&E, but their all the same.
i dont remember a single paper wihtout : Roasted tomatoes, Potatoes, Pumpkins, Burgers, chilli pepper/popcorn.

those products chase me!!

thats beside the point. people can choose how much or how less they want to advertise, its all up to them. the point is, the stuff that used to sell quickly at max prices were suddenly left unwanted or left on the stand for a few hours and why is that? unless you're saying after the update everyone suddenly became like you and stopped being 'seduced' into visiting these farms then yes, i'll accept your reasoning.

totally agree with you, i had my fair chances of grabbing rare items like 10x expansion items for 750 coins, or syrup, ice cream etc. previously my fingers were never fast enough to compete with these people! so yes definitely the ads are seeing less traffic, i think so too.

because not everyone wants to do that. many people grow wheat for the sake of obtaining the expansion items and they harvest like 400 to 500 wheat. maybe you're the only person who has the patience to churn out 500 bread.

btw, wheat is the most time/cost effective crop in all terms: item drop, XP and gold!

Whatever they did broke the game for me. All my items used to go within a few minutes now its like 30 hours and only Greg bought 1 item!! My shop is full of produce that just sits there now. I hope it's something that can be fixed there's nothing to play for anymore because I can't get any income to upgrade my farm anymore.

i wish you would stop going on and on about this, because a few forummers have given you some suggestions and all you do is keep saying your stuff can't be sold. have you actually even tried to do some boat/truck orders? you never reply apart from keep saying the same thing that your shop is full of produce so we'll never know how else to help or suggest.

Wondering if any economic changes noticed on truck orders?

I know you are absolutely right on your stats, I do sell loads of wheat and corn for that reason, but in bulk at the door. But that much wheat in a shop, you have my admiration, but don't you get bored!?

Please tell me why you think people buy it when it's so easy to grow your own.
