New Spell Idea - Shield Spell

This spell could be accessible after heal spells, as it is not an overpowered idea but for lower level bases it could be imbalanced. The idea is that the spell creates a shielding dome over the radius (a radius similar to that of a rage spell or heal spell etc). The spell's shield has a certain amount of hitpoints based on it's level, and if any troop is inside the spell, although defenses can still target the troops inside the shield, the shield will take damage rather than the troop. Anything can shoot out of the shield of course. This is tactical as this would prevent people who leave a spawnable area inside their base next to a town hall where their defenses are all focused to that one point, because it would mean by putting the shield down there, only defenses inside the shield can damage troops while the shield is still up.
So let me summarize incase that was unclear:
Shield spell is placed, creates a shielding dome over the spell's radius
The shielding dome has hitpoints
Defenses can still target troops inside the spell, but if the troops are inside the spell and the defenses are outside the spell the defenses must kill the shield first before any damage can be done to troops
Troops inside the spell can still attack things outside
Traps or defenses inside the shield will still be able to attack anything like normal, as the shield only prevents attacks coming into the shield, not the other way round.

EDIT: To clarify, The spell protects all troops you place.
Things such as air bombs or air seeking mines would be lured as well. As i said defenses will still lock on to troops, so if air troops trigger the traps whilst inside the shield they will just damage the shield. Clan castle troops cannot damage troops and must damage the shield aswell, however they just like your troops are able to move freely inside the shield spell. This could be optimized with some AI tweaks
