Why not have a ready button for wars? If all clan members in the war click their ready button, the war immediately starts, and there's no need to wait the full 24 hrs.
I.e. during war preparation, in the bottom right hand side of the screen, there can be a Ready to Start button to click.

In honesty, the main thing about this is that chances are is that most of the time, this would not be used.
It's not that there is any problems with this, it's just that I believe that there is really no benefit to adding this.
(I know, maybe "not wasting time" might be one, but I kinda feel like they want to keep the game as simplistic as possible. I am not saying that it is complicated, but it would just be . . . . you know, more work to add in.)
I would never use it just to irritate clans that war "always". XD
It has the possibility of abusing this to upgrade the clan level in a short time and get loot more than others. And using SC words, " it would lose the sense of achievement you get when you upgrade something quicker than before."
There have been no arguments to why it's bad, other than it's too complicated to push a button saying you want to war now.
To answer, Preparation Day has a good purpose...I agree! And if every single person in each clan is prepared fpr war, they can ALL click Ready for War and start it up.
Really don't see any downsides and am open to listen.
If you lose a war, you lose a lot more than u gain. If a clan likes to war a lot...they'll still have to wait 24hrs for the war to end. A out abusing this, if a clan has the confidence to war all of the time, and they win, they should be rewarded..their gain is another clan's loss.
To go to war, both clans have to be ready. But if your battling a clan from half way around the globe, they'll probably be asleep while your training your troops... That is also why Prep Day lasts for 24 hours.
Not saying that it would always be used. As an option, it would be good to have though.
Every person in the war has to click ready for war for it to go into effect, maybe that point wasn't emphasized enough.
